      And so sensible, not racing or pushing although she is still covering huge miles each day. Listening to her body and responding accordingly. In contrast I have just watched a through hiker push themselves all the way to Katahdin with injuries, little rest, and hiking 25 miles a day.

    I love seeing you climb MT Moosilauke. Climbed it many times when I was a young boy. My uncle would drop me and my cousin on one side and meet us on the other. Usually the Benten trail. Then we fish camp for the weekend.

    Was able to hike around the 1200 mark today was a good time. Did 6.5 miles today and I keep dreaming of thru hiking like you Taylor keep up the awesome work

    Quite the climb. I was thinking the water crossing would feel good on the feet. There is so much beauty all around. It is great you enjoy it all and are just doing you and what you are comfortable with. Happy hiking.

    So glad you took the few days off to get what you needed to continue...I was in laconia the same day as you i wished I knew would of loved to meet you..I will be definitely going to your store ..good luck in the whites a lot of floods river crossings were tough ..just continue at your own pace you got this !

    Love Moosilaukee, did it as a sunrise hike a few years ago and the views were absolutemy stunning.

    Glad to see you back in the Whites. I do have to say, though, if you would like to sound like a native the locals pronounce it Mt. " Moose-a- lock." Sorry, just a little pet peeve. Good luck with the adventure to Mt. Katadin.

    I had a huge thunderstorm come so close to Moosilauke while I was on the summit a couple of years ago and what a wild sight it was. Near miss for sure😅

    Serious question: How do you know when shuttles are going from where and what time? Trying to plan and understand where this info is learnt while on-trail or before.

    Taylor, nice to see you back out again. I loved see the krumholtz as you approached the summit. Moose almost killed me twice with late Spring snowstorms but I finally did a September hike and made the summit. You're doing great!!! Keep going as there are BILLIONS of us cheering you on. Be safe.     Those headaches may be from dehydration. You probably need to drink a lot more than you have been. Good to see progress, though.

    I'm a solo hiker. One of my pet peeves is other hikers on the trail who are loud, as they scare away wildlife, & destroy the peace of nature. The other hikers in this video triggered me! Lol

    Why does everyone put a long "e" at the end of Moosilauke? I live and hike in New Hampshire and have always pronounced it with a silent "e" at the end. How do other viewers pronounce it?

    I’ve lived in NH my whole life and never heard the mountain pronounced with an E at the end.

      @@spirogyra Taylor grew up in Mass and didn't move to NH until she was 20. The 1/3 you hear pronouncing it with the hard "e" at the end are probably transplants, the same people who can't pronounce Kancamagus and Chocorua correctly either.
