I remember buying the childen album because it was on sale for £3.99. I knew nowt about who the mission were or what they sounded like. Thank God I did because they've given me years of pleasure. I went out and got everything I could find . Always were a great band. Will love them as such forever. (Apart from that awful blue album. Don't know what happened there.)
The shepherds bush shows were awesome.

After wayne left, it seemed that he had a neil young fixation as it seemed to permeate all the stuff he did prior and up to this album with the mission.
Ultimately being the old 1980's UK goth kid i was, i would say that the fields of the nephilim were and still are best of all for the music and lyrical content, apart from the zoon album which was a bit weak.
Why does this get chopped off before the end! Shame....
