From a former fan of Elon Musk, his biggest contribution to life is that he looked a lot less stupid before he started talking, therefore proving that light travels faster than sound.
I saw his performance on Joe Rogan and he couldn't even understand a straightforward question which anyone would have. I knew then that the guy was not smart.
Like Trump, his "genius" is evil. Also, do you know how bad you have to be as a CEO to be fired for incompetence? They set up those "golden parachutes" so if they get fired they cost the company millions so that they will only get fired if the board thinks they will cost the company more than that in a year. Another fun CEO fact, it's been proven that CEOs get worse the more experience they have. Just a related thought
Thinking the same, then the explanations about how Elmo is full of BS with the way he presents things hit and I couldn't help thinking about the irony of how he got to be president elect... The creative way of claiming he'll pay the most tax (actually a lower proportion of earnings than a kid flipping burgers), or the fact he takes no salary (when he's paid in shares), then I remembered the cult couldn't even understand how inflation let alone tariffs work! He's not so smart. He doesn't even come close to Tesla and is just an insult to Tesla 's name. Tesla was not only a true genius, he also cared about all of humanity. Can't say that about narcissistic Musk.
The concept of an electric car did not originate with him. Thomas Parker, an English inventor who was responsible for electrifying the London Underground, built the first production electric car in Wolverhampton in 1884. This was followed in 1888 by the construction of the first real electric car by German engineer Andreas Flocken but the world's first mass-market electric vehicle (EV). The pioneering LEAF hit the roads in December 2010. First sold in Japan, Europe and America, it's now driven in 59 markets.
Elon is the guy who actually got them built in volume and in a form people wanted to buy. Not only that but he open sourced his patents, allowing BYD and others to build even more.
@@alchemist_onewhile I think that Tesla has undoubtedly been one of the frontrunners of EV development & adoption, it seems incredibly naive to say that Elon personally was responsible for all of Tesla's success. All this will cost Tesla lots of money, because Germanies labour laws are strict and not like in the US. Always crazy to me how people think he is a genius when he’s literally made nothing by himself. He shares more in common with Steve Jobs than Einstein. A business man.
I'm so glad people are starting to see through him, he just takes credit for other people's work, he has invested nothing, his started nothing, the companies associated with him grow to their heights due to government subsidy, and hype built around false promises.

An Elon fan told me a few months ago that he had removed all CP from the website, I pointed out that he actually halfed the team who remove this type of content and actually it is more common on the platform now. The person then claimed that all the people who worked on it before were leftists who love CP even though they were employed to remove it. A perfect example of his genius is Hyperloop, a train supposed to levitate on airjets... inside a vacuum tunnel, obviously impossible, but that didn't stop Elon from ripping it off of an old failed patent, resulting in sabotaging plans for environmentally friendly public rails in California. In interviews, any time he's asked about his future ideas, as an "ideas man," he just spews things he's seen in sci-fi, knowing the technology is beyond his lifetime, yet his simps fawn over him like a savior as if he's not just a rich narcissistic dork listing his favourite fiction.
If you search "Hyperloop white paper" you can download it. I defy anyone with a high school education and any exposure to physics not to lose their shit! It demonstrates he knows nothing, I got a third of the way through and decided a further assault on my brain was pointless.

I remember listening to a conversation Elon was having with staff about how he was intending to run Twitter. He sounded incomprehensibly arrogant and my family had eaten up his lies for a long time until the evidence has amounted of his hypocrisy and bad faith.
Musk and Trump share several similar traits. Both are adept at self-promotion and have a transactional mindset. They exhibit self-centeredness, maintain a singular focus, and possess an unwavering belief in their own correctness. While they are skilled at promoting themselves, they often prioritize that over effectively managing a business. Moreover, they have both managed to mislead their supporters and investors repeatedly.
Fact; Teslas are literally the safest vehicles on the road as rated by the NHTSB and insurance institute. Corrections for this sad opinion video; First off, "Geezer" needs to do actual research into Musk. I've probably done less research than you and somehow know more verifiable facts than he does about this man. He needs to stop looking in the corporate media corners for "information" because clearly they have a biased agenda that he doesn't quite understand yet. Secondly, I am not a blind "fanboy" of Elon Musk as it's clear he's not a perfect individual and at the very least should get off social media entirely, because clearly he can't really handle it very well. Thirdly, He did NOT grow up with "emerald wealth" as that happened after he left South Africa with his family. If he had grown up in wealth he wouldn't have been on social welfare in Canada and would have his college paid for and wouldn't have had to sleep on the floor of an office he rented in Silicon Valley when he first started programming as he was indeed self-made because if he had money the whole time that wouldn't have happened and he would have sold his first program easily. He was indeed self-made in the sense that several programs during his time in silicon valley became valuable and sought after so he sold them to buy Solar City, Lotus/Tesla and started SpaceX (spending all his money). Hell, when he was 15 he wrote a video game and sold it for a few hundred bucks so even at a young age he was very intelligent, which nearly cost him his life in South Africa, which was yet another reason his Mother took them to Canada. That and they didn't want to be associated with apartheid as they did not agree with that. This is something Elon has said many times but of course you didn't know that did you? Good research Geezer! Logically, Geezer needs to ask himself about some factual inaccuracies he presented in this low budget, poorly produced "opinion" piece (because it's clear he didn't do his research); Ask yourself this; if Musk did indeed grow up with "emerald mine money" would he have been on social welfare in an apartment in Toronto with his Mother and brother? Why didn't he get all his college paid for if he came from wealth? Why was he homeless and why did he sleep on the floor of the office space he rented in silicon valley before the sale of any of his programs if he always "had money"? If Musk actually had money, why would he spend all of his money on SolarCity Tesla and SpaceX and not use other people's money which is what all the other douchebag wealthy do to mitigate their risk? Why would anyone with money spend all of their money on things that they believe are important as opposed to spend others money on things that they think will make a profit? In summary, I can see Geezer scratching his head and wondering why he posted this "opinion piece" of Musk without doing any actual unbiased research, or being foolish enough to follow whatever corporate media sources he used. Doesn't anyone understand by now that corporate media can't be trusted with any grain of truth as it promotes a narrative of the billionaire class? I hate to break it to you but Musk was never part of that class and doesn't act as such now. In fact, he said many times in interviews that he doesn't care if he makes money as he has things that he wants to accomplish. Sounds like a typical silver spoon billionaire right? LOL Yes, he has money now but clearly he never grew up with it because if he did his life would have been vastly different. Clearly, Geezer is ignorant of his actual early life. Evidence, logic and reason are beautiful things huh? Geezer should try it sometime...

That quote of him saying that he took inspiration from The Dictator’s “pointy rocket ship” is probably one of the funniest unintentional irony I have ever seen. The scene he’s referring to has the Dictator character talking to his chief rocket guy about why the rocket isn’t pointy. The rocket guy then explains that the round shape is more aerodynamic (or that it didn’t matter, I don’t exactly remember) and that the dictator’s idea is a bad one. The dictator insists that it should be pointy because other world leaders would make fun of him for having it be round. The dictator then has the engineer executed (but not really due to later context that isn’t relevant here) for insisting against him. The scene is supposed to show that the dictator is an incompetent fool more focused on what would make himself look cool rather than what would be a good idea, and he leverages his power to get his way. Sounds… awfully familiar. The fact that Elon would take inspiration from the dictator and ignore the entire point of that scene is just… I don’t think I need to explain further,

NATO expansion, the refusal of NATO to consider a Russian application, the EU suggesting entry for Ukraine, the US for helping create an oligarchic Wild West after the collapse of the USSR, the US and UK wanting no peace talks, the end closing on the dollar as the world's reserve currency, and a dozen other things you are ignorant of have helped to create this war. Note that the US and UK now intervene in assisting Israel defend itself from Iran - a country whose consulate they just attacked - and in supplying weapons to Israel while turning a blind eye to Israeli extermination in Gaza, yet let Ukraine 'do it alone'. Dual standards and multiple levels of hypocrisy from Western powers. Not that this excuses Putin's expansionism, but it's hard to choose sides when there are no sides and no simple solutions. yet people just bomb the shit out of each other's civilians. I think my favorite story is how Musk nearly killed himself and Peter Thiel when he bought a brand new $1 million McLaren with his Zip2 money, did not insure it, and immediately crashed it after turning to Thiel and saying, "Watch this." The 2 men were extremely lucky to come out of that uninjured. They had to hitchhike to their meeting. How does the CEO of a listed company gets away with transferring the company’s software engineers to his private company in order to work for him - and the shareholders pick up the tab for the free work. What a cheek.
Not sure if you’re joking or not…but you can easily transfer staff and the other company pays for it…just because ur a public company doesn’t mean the public runs it.
Perhaps in a group of companies under the same parent company, but not in this scenario. You can't just move assets from the public company into your own private one & pretend they are all one in the same.

Excellent, I couldn’t have said it better other than including “bollocks” to describe pretty much everything he says. Watch any interview and his body language is screaming at the world he’s just making it up as he goes along. Great CEOs exude confidence and competence, and our man here demonstrates neither.
You're still assuming "great CEO's" are anything else than people that look like they spend 80h/week working contacts, lurking lucrative deals and putting their names on other people's work, while they're actually allowed to do anything with most of their working time and they won't need to justify it. The escort business brims around CEO intensive areas and they do by remaining available inside the regular CEO work schedule.
Ahhhh, you left out the best part about Musk's fight with that employee. The guy was on some DO NOT FIRE EVER list cause of the deal he made selling his company. Twitter got his company on the cheap due to his employment clause, but if he were ever terminated they'd be required to pay the whole 5 100million ot was worth. That was why HR wouldn't tell him he was fired, they were starring at this nuclear bomb on their computer screen that was about to explode.
People also seem to forget that Elon's mother Maye Musk writes in her book that she would also give whatever money she could to Elon and Kimbal's zip2 business; thousands of dollars here and there over a few years. This is in addition to Their father Erroll's initial financial contribution.

Corrections for this sad opinion video;
First off, "Geezer" needs to do actual research into Musk.
Logically, Geezer needs to ask himself about some factual inaccuracies he presented in this low budget, poorly produced "opinion" piece (because it's clear he didn't do his research);
Ask yourself this; if Musk did indeed grow up with "emerald mine money" would he have been on social welfare in an apartment in Toronto with his Mother and brother?

The fact that Elon would take inspiration from the dictator and ignore the entire point of that scene is just… I don’t think I need to explain further,
Or he is fully aware of this irony, and that it doesn't cost much to change the rocket's tip from round to pointy.
@ either way, is funny
@ts-rgb no, recent events clearly show he has no media literacy and takes a lot of things literally. he's literally incapable of reading between propaganda

(something the US should take note of, when you invest in your citizens it can pay off exponentially)
2. part of the deal when Hali sold his business to and and started working at Twitter meant that when Elon fired him he got a HUUUGGGEEE severance payout or something and then on top of that, after Elon talked with his lawyers, trying to get out of this new mess he made for himself, it turns out that, neither is there anyway out of it (like buying Twitter ironically lol) he had to publicly apologize to Hali or risk getting sued 😂😂😂

They call it "smart" and "good economy" when it's in fact *TERRIBLE* to the economy. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Not sure what this has to do with Elon. Almost all of his money is tied up in his companies that are advancing humanity. If you want to help a million people one time, start a charity. If you want to help a million people repeatedly, fund the right companies.

I was the first person to call musk a smart idiot years ago I'm glad people are waking up to this now
The first? Lol OK
The first? Lol
How do you know?
How money companies have you found idiot😂
Evidence please, because I think I beat you to it.
Really enjoyed the video. As a teenager, I used to look up to Elon because I liked hearing someone be “forward thinking.” I thought the engineering work done by Tesla and Space X was really cool, and it sounded like Elon was the guy who would “make the future a reality.” I’ve definitely changed my mind about him by this point…
Massive props to all the people actually doing the innovative, hard work and putting up with those conditions. You are the ones I’ve actually been admiring all long, apologies for my ignorance
If Elizabeth Holmes got away with it... That's Elon Musk. EH wasn't dishonest enough.
After enjoying myself witnessing the Tech Bro vs Pro America meltdown on Twitter featuring Musk, this video has aged quite remarkably.
Apparently no one has watched Thunderf00t, he's had EM figured several years ago especially when Hyperloop was making the media rounds.
I tried but his absolutely weird harping on women etc turned me off.
I do watch him now as he has moved away from that. Making it more bearable to watch him.
@@elvingearmasterirma7241 Same. Seeing a science and engineering guy shamelessly jump on the anti-sjw bandwagon and start spamming out petty, repetitive, low-effort clickbait - indistinguishable from the same dumb, reactionary crap being produced by completely uneducated guys less than half his age - was just pathetic and made me lose nearly all my respect for him. I might check him out again if he's really moved on from that, but that whole era he went through still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
And mine. @@heinrichagrippa5681
@@heinrichagrippa5681 I watched him regularly but also avoided those videos. But I think the trick is to listen to the arguments without tying them to the person making the arguments. Sure, Thunderf00t has character flaws. But that did not make his arguments about Hyperloop any less valid. He is one of the few regular RUclipsrs that has been calling BS on Musk for years now. Unlike many other tech channels I watch that all fell for it, Thunderf00t saw through it from the beginning and that says something in my book.
"Microwaved Kevin Durand" is my new favorite Elon description, although Durand is much better looking and a better actor. I did a deep dive into Musk's past like a lot of people did after the Twitter situation. Holy crap. His history is mind-blowing and not in a good way. There are so many terrible stories about this guy, lying about everything, overpromising in the extreme, screwing people over (including the founders of Tesla), etc. that it's amazing so many worship him as a god. He's not even a demigod. He is also the least clever troll on the internet. He clearly thinks he's a genius but the evidence proves otherwise. He's a genius opportunist for sure.
Sigh. As any/every 5-year old can tell you, "When ego supersedes actual ability/talent, you in trouble". Just sayin'.
Few understand that when the Bible speaks of "the devil" and "satan" it is speaking of the selfish human EGO (not a "fallen angel"). I have a saying: Intelligence without wisdom is like a boat without water; it won't take you anywhere meaningful. Musk is a perfect example. Go to Mars? Please do, Elon. A simple man with wisdom, I've been given the answers to all of mankind's deepest questions, including The Meaning of Life. "The Book of GOD" takes only 5 minutes to read at no cost. Click and ye shall find. (I correspond only through my contact page.)
@Jack-px8lf You're telling me the 5-year-old you know _don't_ speak like that? Weird.
Huh. All I knew about the Haraldur “Halli” Thorleifsson incident was that Elon was torturing a disabled employee from his own company (which, as the Geezer pointed out, is plenty repugnant on its own). But I had NO idea how cool Halli actually is! Holy shit, give me one Halli over a BAJILLION Musks any damn day.
The clip with Rogan is just perfect. It is the best summing up of the phrase " the idiots idea of a smart person" for both of them.
The best explanation of the two when together! I felt so bad for humanity.
How does the CEO of a listed company gets away with transferring the company’s software engineers to his private company in order to work for him - and the shareholders pick up the tab for the free work.
What a cheek.
The board of Tesla generally believe his cult bullshit.

Thank you. I feel like I've been screening about this guy for way to long, It's like people just love being fooled. The guy is a fraud period and point blank.
Isn't that mind boggling? I totally agree. A moron like me can see through electric Jesus' BS. If others don't, it's because they don't want to. They found an idol. He's electric Jesus after all...
"When the sky falls, tall people die first." - Chinese proverb.
Excellent, I couldn’t have said it better other than including “bollocks” to describe pretty much everything he says. Watch any interview and his body language is screaming at the world he’s just making it up as he goes along. Great CEOs exude confidence and competence, and our man here demonstrates neither.
He's autistic
You're still assuming "great CEO's" are anything else than people that look like they spend 80h/week working contacts, lurking lucrative deals and putting their names on other people's work, while they're actually allowed to do anything with most of their working time and they won't need to justify it.
The escort business brims around CEO intensive areas and they do by remaining available inside the regular CEO work schedule.
Is he real? I thought he was a villain in a comic book..
Ahhhh, you left out the best part about Musk's fight with that employee. The guy was on some DO NOT FIRE EVER list cause of the deal he made selling his company. Twitter got his company on the cheap due to his employment clause, but if he were ever terminated they'd be required to pay the whole 5
100million ot was worth. That was why HR wouldn't tell him he was fired, they were starring at this nuclear bomb on their computer screen that was about to explode.
That whole story is just brilliant. That guy's great
Elon Musk: I'm a genius! OH NO!
😂😂😂😂
As I watched this video, I kept flashing on George Santos...
These grifters and frauds are really like cockroaches.
“when the ketamine wore off..” 😂

People also seem to forget that Elon's mother Maye Musk writes in her book that she would also give whatever money she could to Elon and Kimbal's zip2 business; thousands of dollars here and there over a few years. This is in addition to Their father Erroll's initial financial contribution.
