This seems to be a very impressive place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job!
I have travelled on the Eurostar multiple times and all staff on the trains must speak English. Having trouble with the accent is different, you just have to listen.
Actually i cant understand hows it possible. I worked for eurostar in lille in france between london and paris, and we all spoke english and there, u were in london ! That makes no sense :D
I’m a French living in London, I hope you enjoyed your trip in Paris. I’m quite surprised though because France attracts lots of tourists who don’t speak our language. French people have generally an intermediate level of English but the younger generation speaks English. In many places, information is also given in English.
This is ridicule. I went in a trip in Eastern Europe back in the late 80s (Berlin wall was gone on November 1989) when about nobody were fluent in English. I am fluent in French and English, can speak Spanish and managed to learn few essential German sentences. In every place, I managed to learn few words, enough to order food in a restaurant or get a bed in a B&B. Driving a car abroad also requires some basic knowledge of the local languages. Learning few words or sentences to exchange with the local is a challenge but it add spices to the travel experience. We do travel to expand our cultural horizons and languages are an integral part of the culture.
@Bethany Baker Agree, but he just comes out very close minded in this video. I've traveled in places where nobody speaks any of the languages I speak, with me just memorizing some words and been totally fine. He is literally in the middle of the highest center of tourism in the globe with hundreds nationalities and finds it a struggle. You have to open yourself at least a millimeter for some new experiences when travelling.
London sucks. For a place that I lived all my life it's so grimy around the back alleys and some areas aren't safe at all. It isn't a quaint city. Groups of kids hang around with knives. And just bad stuff like that.
I'm not mocking, I promise, but I had to chuckle when you translated the "gone surfing" note as "....a ish" when the "ish" actually said 18h (eg 6pm in American language :)

Yes I was worried but everyone on France was so nice and spoke really good English. Italy was not the same 😂
I want to travel to this place and this video is really awesome.

When you except everyone on the world should speak English.

There's always things to do in London but not a place worth living in unless you're wealthy

London is a nice place but it can be stressing bill-wise. Paris seems like a cool place to live in but wouldn't it be more expensive?
Yes , i confirm, But still cheaper than London. With the exception of a few arrondissements ( districts ).
Weird how you had an issue with languages as all the staff have to know both English and French for obvious reasons
