The Class 325 Royal Mail Electric Multiple Units | Now Ready for Scrap?

The Class 325 Electric Multiple Units used by Royal Mail filmed in operation between 2017 & 2024. With the last mail trains operating during September 2024 the first sets have been rumoured to be taken away for scrap very soon.

Won't happen. Apparently all 325 are being sent to scrap.

325 can’t couple with 321 by their different couple types. Both could extra service route. I saw other video Varamis Class 321 was displayed at London Liverpool Street. There was unusual route to Tonbridge or Ramgate on planning map - that could be 325 (or also 319 panel stock) still fitted power pickup shoes.

Starting Thursday 31st of October, the 325s are going to Newport Alexandria Dock sidings, not to the docks quite yet
