oh don't worry, I'm a really mediocre player in this game. I can do fine in a 1 v 1 but if there's more people around I just get lost and die, because I can't aim

Cool moves WW1 dogfights are something else. Also do you hold the flight stick with your right hand and the mouse with the left? i'm trying to use mouse for the camera but its hard to get a good position.
Most who play will use headtracking such as Track IR or any other method. Before getting Track IR though I did fly IL-2 Great Battles and 1946 for several years by flying the stick with my undominant hand and holding the mouse with my dominant hand that could track targets well. You could also try padlocking your opponents in combat though this can be very disorientating and does not make it easy to aim through the gunsight.

Hi. Do you have any tips for flying the planes level and such? With my (shit) Logitech 3D Extreme Pro, I have to push the joystick pretty hard forwards, resulting in a tired arm.
use trim to level the flight
@@BttClass WW 1 planes don't have a trimmer I guess
@@BttClass Flying Circus aircraft do not have that.
@@joelthorstensson2772 It is just how these planes opperate. The game does include an auto level mechanic which can allow you to maintain heading and altitude.
