In late war 109's with the MW-50 Injection System, it is very important to know how you use the throttle, you cant use engine power between 80% and 95%, the MW-50 doesn't engage until full power (95-100%), so either stay at combat power or go full power, no in between, or else your engine will fail and seize from overheating.
I shall now believe in the funni 109 spinner pic man and follow accordingly in DCS
it has to be 100% not 95% not 98%. And the k4 with the regular engine does not like transitions between combat and 100% and it dies it the worst possible moments and it has no 10 m. And in combat that is what you want proper throttle control especially in scissors.
I got left so many times in dogfights by the engine of the regular engine k4 that i do not use that plane anymore.

If people can take one thing from this video it is the shooting.1 click Proper position: full zoom with the best (forward) body position( the gun-sight appears small) (very, very important), steady on the stick, proper lead. Also small bursts with the 30 mm it is important. You see when the shots are made the picture does not shake, that is very important, that means the hand is not shaking the stick when the shots are made just like in real shooting, this principle is the same.
I have seen many videos on you tube where people shoot fully zoomed out wondering why it is not deadly.
There are a lot more good practices in the video like mutual wingman support and defensive maneuvering, but they are much less obvious for the casual player so I will not comment them.

also im now lauhgting at this: il-2 version of spitfire (more realistic probably in all aspects cuz i don't trust gaijin a word) extremely deadly and agile
war thunder spitfire: help my engine is overheating and i can easily get outturned by a me 264 (i tried that in me264 it worked i won the dogfight) hold on i have the extremely deadly guns that some of the p51s have the 20mm ones, spark spark spark (party gun noises)

@@sule.A for gaijin or me cuz I don't remember spitfire having same gun as one of the p-51s and shoot ruber bullets (idk if the fixed it but British guns in general shoot rubber bullets, my biplane can eat mere 12x40mm round of theirs

I love IL-2 but I dont have a HOTAS.
Who said you needed Hotas? For years I was making do in WW1/2 sims with a 20+ year old stick and worn out CH Throttle quadrant, more than enough for IL-2.
I've since upgraded the stick but still use the quadrant.
logitech extreme 3d pro one of the cheapest ones out there but its ok for il2
I played it for a year before I got HOTAS, its mouse & keyboard system is actually rather good and slightly similar to war thunder
