This is the version of this song that brings me to tears every time! Pete was SO special! He was instrumental in many movements throughout his life through wonderful music. If you get the chance you should check out his Garden Song. Great for kids, happier, sweet song. I used to sing it for my son ( now 51) and neices and nephew, riding in the car. They still remember it! I truly miss Pete! Thanks to all three of you for bringing me this memory!❤
My dad is a Vietnam vet (and grandfathers were WW2 vets) and was a fan of Muhammad Ali both before, during, and after the war. He always told me that Ali was a real man of conviction and integrity, stood by what he believed in, and never gave up. I remember watching the Thrilla in Manila and the Rumble in the Jungle with my dad, and cheering for him through victory and defeat. Pacifists can be found in every religion as well as non-religious, and it's a belief system that is perfectly valid in a country with a Bill of Rights like ours.
Thank you, Tim Sommer.⭐ And Jay and Amber. Enjoyed this.🙂✌

What a beautiful compliment he gave you two. Keep doing what you're doing. It's been amazing to see how much you have grown in your musical journey 😊

I think the Kingston Trio did a better job on this song
