Christmas Bells is based on the words of an ancient mummers play traditionally performed around the Christmas period.

These lyrics seem to be based on the plays done in and around Sheffield at Christmas - usually in pubs etc - a very old folk tune.
Glad they've done this - sounds great!

this song is to new for those people who like christmas song for a long time Christmas Bells is a new holiday song and people have no idea about the lyrics but i enjoy the song even i was listen Christmas Bells at may 8 , i like Christmas Bells the lyrics is very awesome and feel funny of the Deck The Halls Lyrics .

i was a big fan of Bellowhead Christmas song is better than other song that they sing Jingle Bells and Christmas Bells they are classic love it they should do some more Christmas song even the ending part feel like Deck The Halls but i enjoy the music , i love Christmas can't wait for this year .
