This is fantastic. We used to have the chain going through a wet sump back in the days in heavy potato peelers. Those chains lasted forever with regular oil changes.

The correct procedure is how they show it in the video. The most important aspect of the chain to receive lubrication is the pin. The pin and the bore are the wear points. As these wear the chain becomes longer. I like it better than an oilier that directs oil across the entire chain link or link side.

Would this work with a graphite oil or would it plug up

Useless... because you must not lubricate the side! The middle has to be oiled...
