I bought a add-on that was supposed to add a boarder to a single chunk as a challenge which slowly expanded over time as you progressed, safe to say I was disappointed when I realised it was locked down to one heavily customised world that gave you all the tools to beat the game as you played, instead of leaving you to your own in any world you chose, safe to say I'm not going to be buying any more packs from now on.
I've bought True Realism when it came out due to the fact that it looked like a shader pack as well. It's like the closest thing you can get to shaders on consoles and I think that's the reason why it's so popular. People CRAVE for shaders on consoles. If only Mojang stopped playing around with our feelings and finally delivered on the hype that they've created with the super duper pack...still waiting...always...
I think cuz of ppl steeling others addons and upload them for free Sure this mathod doesnt stop ppl who steel their addons but it does make it harder for them
imagine if you were forced to play on a premade map the creator decides for you when using a single addon in gmod, terraria, or java and had to pay 8 dollars for it 💀
@@hameedalhassy They sell resource packs that can be used in any world whatsoever, and AFAIK those are encrypted. They also encrypt the worlds as well, so I don't see why they couldn't encrypt the addons by themselves.
The way I always viewed them is that the colab DLCs are just games that use minecraft as a game engine. 10$ for a decent game of a property that I like. If it is at least reasonably good then yeah worth it. currently have several on a wish list.
To not get a whole texture pack because it has 2 textures in it that you don't like is really dumb to me. There is no texture pack in existence where you're gonna like literally every texture in it. Personally, if there are more textures that I like compared to textures that I dislike in a Texture Pack, then I'm buying it still. I didn't buy True Realism to look at the villagers or the cats. I've bought it because of the shader like elements. For example, the moving foliage, beautiful sky, clear water and fog, small details like stones in the grass etc... The tools and weapons are really cool, especially the Netherite. Armor is also fine, although not my favorite. The Totem is ok, it's like a golden Angel, a lot of the food items look nice as well. I really don't mind the cats. However, I completely agree about the villagers. The villagers could be much better. Same with the Zombies but that wasn't reason enough for me to not get the pack. Especially since I play mostly on PS5. It's nice to have a good looking texture pack on console that is easily accessible too which is why I think most of the sales are probably from console players.

Bedrock is better IN HIS OPINION. He’s not wrong, and I agree with him in fact. I feel like Java is just way too easy. I’ve played it and it’s just so easy to beat the game with the F3 menu and stuff.
@Codeblank-vw2uy bro the /s had its whole own line how did you miss it?
ppl should be allowed to have their own opinions on which is better for them. both versions are good in their own right and no player is better/lesser than just bcz theyre playing one or the other.
i am, however, with you on the avatar thing. how do you go ur whole life NOT watching atla at least once? his lack of knowledge made me sad
Yeah cabbage guy an in joke, but wow they did him dirty
i clicked for the hacker map
Bedrock sucks! On Java you can get so much better mods for free.
Microsoft will get advantage of anything
God that texturepack looks bleak
