    I have a small, tabletop telescope at home but even with that thing and a 10mm eyepiece, looking at the moon in real time at such a close manner is such a surreal experience. It's incredible.

    Thanks Man. The moon is a pretty easy target for any 'scope.
    Maybe 40 years ago i took my very basic 115 mm reflector out bush & away from city lights.
    I was with an aesthetically pleasing, but dumb-by-choice female, & when i pointed the scope at the moon, she said "bullshit!" ...She reckoned I had somehow stuck an illuminated print of the moon somewhere within the telescope & wouldn't believe otherwise, regardless that the moon drifted out of the field of view by itself, & the "picture" disappeared when the front of the scope was covered.
    This illustrates the conundrum that people who refuse to see, definitely won't.
    40 years later we have a cult of "Flat Earthers" suffering a similar delusion.

      Yes the earth is flat , and skies have water in them , if you focus on the videos of the moon , you can see the water waves clearly , and sometimes you can see stars beyond the moon , of course by telescopes

    For those who want to believe that the moon is self-illuminating, I believe this shows that to be incorrect. If it were the case, there wouldn't be any shadow, or at least a very dark shadow, in the craters. And the shadow in the craters and that of the ridges are showing the direction of the light source.
    8/18/2018 ~ just wanted to add as others have pointed out that, if the moon is self-illuminating, there wouldn't be any phases.

    • @EllawoodBlues

      Also the round part of the moon phases always point towards the sun, and this completely fits a round moon, illuminated by the sun and in space. If the moon was self luminous, then it's exactly like it would look with a round illuminated moon in space. And God must be a deceiver to the utmost.

      Not with any telescope, sorry. Even the Hubble would not work, because it could not focus on the moon - way too close.

    • @marcbazot2740
      @marcbazot2740 5 лет назад +11

      No scope has enough resolution to see the moon landing stuff from earth. Even Hubble would see a football stadium as a barely noticeable tiny green dot. If I remember right, you'd need a 60m wide telescope to have enough resolution to see a rover.
      The satellites orbiting the Moon are close enough to see it, though. There have been photographs of the landing sites where you can even see the trails of footprints and rovers around the landing sites. Google "LRO Apollo"

  • @Galaxyofbrian

    It's such a mysterious object is our moon 🎑. For instance all of the craters and rifts differ in whith but look the same depth. Also the way it moves with the rest of the universe keeping one side completely out of view all of the time. It's just staggering really when you put it all together. You're voice is beautiful btw so is the background music 🎶 💜✌️

    • @STR33TSofJUST1C3
      @STR33TSofJUST1C3 6 лет назад

      I do wonder though, how do you determine the depth of all those craters?

    • @Galaxyofbrian
      @Galaxyofbrian 6 лет назад +1

      STR33TSofJUST1C3 It's called with 2eyes 👀. When you use Google maps over certain areas of earth you can clearly tell that the depths of gorges and craters etc all look different. Please don't insult my intelligence. The shading on the sides (That's the parts that are falling back into the crater itself) give an idea of depth. 👍

    • @STR33TSofJUST1C3
      @STR33TSofJUST1C3 6 лет назад +1

      So we can accurately eyeball the depth of craters, gorges, valleys from high altitude? That's odd. Then we do we need technical equipment to measure these geographic features?
      Also, I'm not trying to insult your intelligence. I'm sure you're doing that just fine.

    • @Galaxyofbrian
      @Galaxyofbrian 6 лет назад +1

      STR33TSofJUST1C3 No I think you'll find that you're the one insulting you're own intelligence, because Your saying that you cannot gauge or estimate something without an instrument to aid you then your a robot 🤖 mate. I'm not talking about accurate measurements we don't need accuracy here we are just determining that they look similar in depth.

    Something is odd in crater middle size the one on the top 3:35 , many times its like one white ball buried in sand, but with this something is odd. 5:36 looks like high above ground, and it has own long shadows.
    Did you maybe look for lunar apollo landings ? footprints ?
    What is the model of this telescope ? So i can look for specification.

    Have you or anyone else seen any crafts flying to or back from the moon? I heard there are moon bases on the darkside of the moon.

    Would be interesting if you tell us how big those things we see actually are.
