I just finished Green Rider by Kristen Britain (fantasy) and am working on The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes (1930s historical fiction). I thought GR was really good and it's part of a series. I'm really enjoying TGS at the moment.

I definitely enjoyed Tokyo Ever After more, but I still really liked Tokyo Dreaming. Didn't love the fake dating trope in this one, I felt like it was a gimmick that wasn't really needed, you know? I just wanted to see her and her parents navigate this new world together and focus on that more. Also...fantasy nobody talks about? Dark of the West by Joanna Hathaway. I need more people to read this trilogy! It's a fantasy with fighter pilots, political intrigue, and complex/messy family dynamics. I think you'd really like it!
I sort of hated how little we saw of Akio & then we have this whirlwind moment with him towards the end. I just wanted that relationship to keep developing & the sort of love triangle felt forced imo. 😭
