Ping plays a humongous part in any game with parrying even 100 ping can completely destroy your gameplay and make you lose.

because demons are supposed to heal
Slayer do a ton of damage with some builds enough to 5 shot a ton of demons unless they have a lot of defense but other builds are meant to drain blood so they aren’t able to regen
