It's always nice to see modders put BF and Matt in more nostalgic sports, I freaking loved Swordplay! Wii Sports Resort was the GOAT. Now imagine if they were to do yet again another very intense sport... golf.
I like both styles of Matt singing, honestly. This is more comprehensible, and has an easier to understand mood to it The more spammy variety is also cool in its own right, and the song maker made good use of those patterns to make some interesting sounds. I think both are canon, this one for friendly sparring, while still capable of note spam if he actually tries.

Love the reference for the name of the final song, "Showdown", and I love the tunes, not to mention the amazing sprites and backgrounds. Fine mod, great job! (For those who don't know, Showdown is a single-player Swordplay mode in Wii Sports Resort that pits you against waves of AI. IMO, it's arguably one of the best modes in the game.)
honestly this mod is pretty good! I hope there's atleast gonna be one hard song cuz even tho i like how chill the mod is and stuff I atleast want a few hard songs because thats what the point of the matt mod was, it was to show how much of a badass and strong competitor matt is, it didnt go overboard either, he was hard but able to be beaten but you wouldnt get out without a few hundred misses (that is if your bad, i literally got 10 misses on target practice) other then the whole thing of no hard songs this is a really good mod! 10/10 so far, love the visuals btw
I really think the creators of this mod did a really good job with the charting and was really fun to play, but Matt is the king of Speed so i would like to see that.
Not sure if it's the first one only, or if it's like this in every song, but the way the first song's motifs and patterns were structured was SUPER reminiscent of Shaggy mod songs... and i LOVE it! (Also the vocals are MAAAD impressive, hands down.)
As much as I like the original Week 1/2 and the fanmade Week 3, this honestly takes the cake. Squeak's "Engarde" song is honestly a very good song to vibe with. Gracias for the team to bringing this masterpiece to us!
