I agree, I would have preferred to change it. Time is money in this industry, it is costing the company x amount of dollars for each hour the equipment is sitting, so most of the repairs are just enough to get it going, and try to schedule additional repairs at a later day when there is a lower demand for the equipment. Unfortunately it's something we have to deal with as technicians.
