    Thanks for showing the process. With the unavailability of diesel shops, the more of these how to videos out there the better. I’m gonna swap mine in my cabover, just wanted to lay some eyes on the deal.

    Thermostats are higher up where the pipe with the o ring goes

    When you spun that fan clutch my mind was screaming “Change that” it’s simply not worth the extra time to do it again.

      I agree, I would have preferred to change it. Time is money in this industry, it is costing the company x amount of dollars for each hour the equipment is sitting, so most of the repairs are just enough to get it going, and try to schedule additional repairs at a later day when there is a lower demand for the equipment. Unfortunately it's something we have to deal with as technicians.
