In late October of 2019, Vaughn Benjamin travelled to Grass Valley, CA to record at Ras Biblical’s studio. After recording LIVING TESTAMENT, he advised that he wanted to record some riddims. An all-star team gathered, and Vaughn hummed what he wanted each musician to play.
THE AKAE BEKA SCROLLS emerged from these sessions as a unique album in the discography of Akae Beka. It’s an instrumental album with several interludes of Vaughn singing and playing acoustic guitar.
