Man, I really wish that the lessers came with stands instead of stakes for using them on ice around ponds and stuff. Either way I still think these are going to be the best bang for your buck when it comes to a full body goose decoy...great review Bobby!
I agree 100 on everything, love avian x but I run tanglefree bags for geese and heavy hauler for ducks. I hate the solid black and red (now pink) handles because it's almost impossible to hide with a hike in or too lazy to go back to the truck.
We run the Avianx Lessors in sub zero temperatures and just use the Avianx Xstands. You have buy them on-sale or clearance. Keep on gunning in the free world.
Also I like the 6 slot lessorbag. 6 decoys and 6 stakes. I am disabled so my Son and the younger hunters round them up and I sit in my chair and stuff bags.
I am looking at buying Avion x mallards. Could you make a video of what is your opinion on the flocked heads or non flocked? With the advantages and disadvantages of flocked heads? And what type of head positions because Avion x has a large number of positions. I'm thinking for small sets like 1 to 2 dozen. Thanks. You have helped this beginner out alot
Did you hunt with detachable heads before? In fact they are beneficial as you can replace the flocked part easy and cheap I can't see losing one being a problem...? The most common problem is putting out and taking in 5 or 6 dozen heads every single hunt, it takes a lot of time! Or I guess they can fall off in the trailer, as you say.
hey Bobby, do you have a compairson between Avian X and DK WAI decoys? I don't have any Decoys yet and i want to buy best quality Decoy. Here in Germany you don't have a big selection in Decoys :/ Like your Channel! Keep up the good work =)
South Dakota used to have a 20 county August management season with resident only season Sept. 1st but now only one county open to August season of course opposite side of the state from me yeah you talk about crazy nothing like shooting dove and geese all in one day and ide love to get some Avian X goose decoys they are the best looking just one thing when your a husband and father you gotta put money to things that are just a little more important haha
BobbyGuyFilms yeah the buddies i have are in the same boat as me but for now we have been doing it the cheap way finding outfitters looking to upgrade Craig's list been saving up though so when we are ready to upgrade we can get some nice ones that'll last us a while
BobbyGuyFilms I know that these r the lessers but are they very small or are they a good size,r they really visible to the geese to see from a good distance
Cwoutdoors they are a little smaller than the greater decoys but if you have enough decoys out all they see is a black blob till they get closer and then they will only see geese... it won't really matter the size difference... we always say if they are close enough to figure those small details out they should be dead birds
Yes there is a lot of birds but not as many as the central flyway unless you went on the eastern shore, which then you will see mostly migrators and a lot of snows. Where I hunt is north central maryland and there is a good mix of migrators and residents and its normal to see fields with about a thousand or two birds but normally just a couple hundred in most fields
Maryland is mighty fine goose hunting and blackducks but only bad thing is the damn 2 geese per limit. Used to hunt there 2 years ago but the eastern shore is killer
Dave Smith’s, deception decoys and replica decoys all look amazing. But the price for the decoys is ridiculous. If you can kill geese with silhouettes then why would you need to break the bank buying over priced full bodies. The Avians are at a respectable price point for what you’re getting. Avians Lessers are 300$ a dozen. Dave smith lessers are 900$ a dozen.
Their decoys may be fine and dandy, but their customer service through Plano/Synergy is horrible. I'll just say first and last time buyer of Avian-X decoys and all the Plano/Synergy brands for that matter.
I would agree with this as well their customer service is absolutely terrible. They are not helpful at all and are not even pleasant to talk to on the phone. Feels like you are a telemarker interupting their dinner when you call for support.
I've had great customer service. Had a problem with tube on decoy and they sent me 6 replacement tubes in a matter of days from initial contact and I live in 🇨🇦
Buy Avian X Decoys Here-- amzn.to/2eHKCcw
I have just been looking for a good waterfowl youtube channel and I can say yours is by far the best!
+Owen Masters Bro that means a lot to me. My goal is the be the most active best waterfowl channel hands down. I appreciate that man

+S&S Outdoors Thanks man I agree. I'm actually doing another vid about that this week. Stakes or stands
BobbyGuyFilms sweet, looking forward to it👍🏼
I have 3.5 dozen of the square stand version of these and they have been awesome so far
I got some avian x goose last year and I love the decoys but not the bag !????
I agree 100 on everything, love avian x but I run tanglefree bags for geese and heavy hauler for ducks. I hate the solid black and red (now pink) handles because it's almost impossible to hide with a hike in or too lazy to go back to the truck.
The new tanglefree stake system is AWESOME just a bunjee and hook and go. It works awesome.
Seriously your 100% right avian X are the best decoys on the market. Once you buy a few you never go back.

Bobby this is a great review! Do you know how long the field stakes are? Thank you! Keep up the great work!
+Barry Luchtel Not sure..
I bought some big foot decoys, they work great but they don't have much motion
+Jack Graff Use to have them hated the big foot style stand and not stakes. Fell over all the time in wind
Sept 2 opens early Canada season for us in Florida. Can't wait!
+Troy Roberts Wow goose season in September that's crazy
BobbyGuyFilms it's more of a hunt adjacent to golf courses and try to pop one slipping. It'll be 80+ weather haha
ND early season starts in Aug with a 15 limit.
love my avain x lessers also, good video man.
Tag team the bag, got it.
Thanks for the good info! I got distracted by the train horn in ur vid 😂😂
How much do the painted Avian's shin on sunny days or on rainy days? Just trying to decided between the FF or just go with the numbers of the painted.
+Brice Flentje Is say there's a touch of a difference but we have had many many good hunts over the painted ones with blue bird sky's
hey Bobby, do you have a compairson between Avian X and DK WAI decoys? I don't have any Decoys yet and i want to buy best quality Decoy. Here in Germany you don't have a big selection in Decoys :/ Like your Channel! Keep up the good work =)
I use avian x turkey decoys, they are the real deal!
+Carolina Tide Agreed! All variations are money! They got it right
I know your comments old but have you used the LCD turkey decoys ( blow ones) or whatever they are
I love the avian lesser and greaters!
+Brian Farmer Agreed
Come out to PA man i'll love for you to come on over
+PaOutdoorAddict Email us!!

+Minnesota outdoors Those r super nice as well

+Josh Rupp Believe men man I completely
Understand. The only reason we have the decoys we do is because there's 5 of us that pitch it together.
BobbyGuyFilms yeah the buddies i have are in the same boat as me but for now we have been doing it the cheap way finding outfitters looking to upgrade Craig's list been saving up though so when we are ready to upgrade we can get some nice ones that'll last us a while
I bought six avian x full body honkers and they didn't come with a bag and I don't know what bag to get, will any full body decoy bag work?
Matt johnson
Yes
+Matt johnson Yes any will work
Another great video!
+Caleb young Thanks bro
Are those the avian x lessers?
Great videos man keep it up
+Zane Pope Thanks man I appreciate it for real
BobbyGuyFilms I know that these r the lessers but are they very small or are they a good size,r they really visible to the geese to see from a good distance

Yeah those bags are crap but it is nice that they do come with bags. I bought some of their new speck decoys and they are sick
+Shane Lawless Oh I bet they r badass I've been wanting to Check em out
Use some dowel wood in the pockets to stiffen them up.
+pepepepert good idea
You guys should make a trip out to Maryland to goose hunt!
+Slayin Fowl Outdoors Pretty good numbers of birds outs there!?
Yes there is a lot of birds but not as many as the central flyway unless you went on the eastern shore, which then you will see mostly migrators and a lot of snows. The goose limit is 5 in the zone I hunt but yes it is a 2 bird limit on the shore.
Your videos are good!!
+stabeasdf Thanks bro!!
DSD look just as good.
Dave smiths are the best
Brett Turner why the hell would you spend that much
@@silasoutdoors1152 well if your truly buying for absolute realism and 110% matching color and detail your gonna buy dsd
They r a lot cheaper than avian x so if u can't afford those the Bigfoots r the way to go
you kill quite a few deer from that stand?
Easily the best looking goose is Dave smith decoys it's not even a discussion just really pricy but not much worse than the avian-x
+Tom Bruce I will ya have to check em out

Would have to agree with you very much.

I've had great customer service. Had a problem with tube on decoy and they sent me 6 replacement tubes in a matter of days from initial contact and I live in 🇨🇦
Yea the bag sucks.
Good way to handle the bags is sell your Avian X's and buy Bigfoots hahaha. Bigfoots are by far the most bang for your buck.
