At 41:26 you talk about support redoubles - with a couple of my partners I play that 1NT is actually the 3 card support hand, and a redouble just shows strength (and might still have 3 card support). What do you think of that?
It’s an interesting approach. I used to play something similar when I had a partnership with Vince. I don’t play it that way now but that’s mostly because I go out of my way to avoid playing random agreements that don’t come up a ton.
Dont claim in defense that early like you did on board 1. You are taking away some of the fun of the stream and for your opponents. For us and them it might not be obvious that you get 2 out of 4 tricks there. So would be more fun to play it out and not claiming.
I have a responsibility to the people I’m practicing with to claim in spots like that. I agree playing it out would be better for the stream but these guys are gratious enough to let me stream the play, it’s not fair to them to slow down the game for my stream.
So grateful for this, great to watch high-level bridge with real-time thoughts from a world class player.

@@wolpertbridge true it's probably an easy agreement to forget - support doubles/redoubles are easy enough to forget!!
