16:45 Great lecture but I don't agree here. Hinduism is not a mythology it teaches us spirituality. China is famous for its technology, France for Perfumes and what is India famous for? Answer is Spirituality. People come from all parts of the world to India to learn Spirituality. Whereas we are going from India to all other parts of the world for material knowledge and possessions. We may be interested in understanding what problems does SPIRITUALITY solve? Answer is "The Problem of DEATH." HOW? As we know we are not this body, because - if we see, this body is changing from youth to old age. What is not changing then? The Soul and we are souls, not this body. This body is like Cloth you wear, when it starts tearing we wear a new one. Same is with this body. When the body gets diseased we take a new body and the process from one body to another body is called DEATH. We gain knowledge of Spirituality through devotion towards Lord Krishna and from the knowledge of Bhagwad Geeta. In Bhagwad Geeta, Lord Krishna says, 'One who remembers me during the time of death gets out of this material world and comes to me undoubtedly'. So no more birth and death again. 'Bhagwad Geeta' highly recommended book and its scientific not mythology. Read by Mahatma Gandhi, Einstein, Tesla and many more. We should not say Hinduism as mythology which creates Ignorance towards Spirituality for youth who is watching your content. Instead we should try to tell everyone about Spirituality and Bhagwad Geeta. Liked you lecture and selfless efforts you put in. Great 👍
Shravan my man you answered a lot of my questions. I did my MBA from Tier-1 b school in South Korea, and i want to move to product management from consulting, for others consulting is dream job but I didn't find my ikigai in it, I believe that I can be a PM and friends/mentors like you are making me believe that odds can be overcome at any point of time. Cheers to you and your initiative.
Product manager is a problem solver at scale. He is responsible for the successful creation, development and delivery of the product. He is a advocate of the customer who makes sure that the product he delivers is the one that user will thoroughly enjoy or is inline with their need. He makes sure that the product provides the intrinsic value to the customer solving a existing pain point
A product which is successful will provide intrinsic value. It doesn't matter whether it's UI/UX is good or bad. If it solves a pain point and provide 10x value to the customer the product will work Example of this intrinsic value i believe is apple, it was the first company to ever launch a phone with a touch screen, thus gaining mass popularity
Once competitors arrives the the game shifts from intrinsic value to UI/UX and features. Thought the first mover advantage will still be there but if a company provides a better user experience then they have a probability of having a product more successful. example - Jio though it was launched way later than any other telecom company they were able to acquire the market share by providing data at lower price Thought the intrinsic problem was also solved by their competitors ie Vodafone and idea, Jio capitalised of the price
As usual, the best quality stuff are not recommended anywhere. You go in search of it! 'Art of Prioritization' - This video in itself is a great example!! Let's Scale this... Much needed gyan! Dhanyawaad.
I just started following you on linked and ended up here. I am starting my product manager life with you . Very useful content and thanks a lot for your efforts in upbringing all the future PMs
Missed this session.. But viewed it now!! Loved the passion with which you are teaching and mentoring aspiring PM's like all of us!! Hopefully your passion will drive all of us to our goals successfully!! Can't thank you enough for your efforts!
Saw your page on LinkedIn as it was shared by a mutual connection and I followed the link here. The topic will get alot of people here, but I am afraid I cannot watch past a few minutes because of the dual-language instruction style. If this video is specific to Asia audience, then it's fine. However,if you want a wider reach, kindly take that into consideration and make it in English. Hoping we can get a full English version of this topic from you. The comment section sings praise of how good this is, so help us non-Indians out with an English version or subtitle. Thank you.
Hi sir mera naam Vikrant hain mere ghar Mandi Himachal Pradesh main hain apse ek question puchana tha mere pass 3 sal work experience hain mera healthcare technology startup tha uska main founder financial problem ke karna mera startup band hogya aur abh main apna career Associate Product Manager se suru karna chata ho kya ap mujhe guide kar skte ho maine BBA + PGDCA ki hain himachal pradesh university shimla
Thanks Shravan for creating this video. I am wondering If I can get your thoughts on this - I recently discovered product management but my impression so far is that I can be paid well (sweet sweet tech salary), don't need to code, don't need any special certifications/MBA/MS Computer Science (or any specific degrees for that matter) or specific experiences. Seems too good to be true. Wondering if I am missing something?
Hi, I have been following you and your content for quite sometime now. The way you explain each concept, it just feels very interesting. Thank you for creating such enriching content for aspiring product managers like me. 👍😊 Also, one doubt, the 15 sessions that are mentioned here in the video, is it mentioned somewhere that which all videos are part of those 15 sessions so that one can watch them in the same order.
I think , At the end of that pet idea , We would have both the things go in hand in hand like where will we keep the stray pet , in between the interval where we found the pet and found an ideal adoptive family? (eg adoption centres)
Hi Shravan, I remember mentally noting that you had included your Notion.so where you included your product portfolio somewhere, I can't seem to find it anymore. Can you please share your link? I'd like to start making my own portfolio as well. Also, any comments on Notion vs Substack vs Medium?
This has been one of the best thing I have watched on internet for a while now, amazing job Shravan, have signed up for your next cohort, hope I get an invite :)
