Another great video. Thank you! The XTPro is waiting at home for its first day out. Can't wait! In the meantime enjoying your vids a lot. Very helpfull! 🙂
@@unearthed-detecting-tv yes quite a few times Graeme found Roman coins a buckle and a old gilded cuff link and old pennies 4to6 inches deep in field 1. 10 kHz.
What a great video mate. Brilliant way of showing the machines features and capabilities. The machine looks like it covers all areas from someone starting out, a upgrade or even a back up machine. Honestly don’t know how minelab can produce a machine like that for that money but a lot of people will benefit from it
Nice performance on the cut half. You’d dig the hoard even though a bit scratchy. I don’t think it out performs the equinox range though.. good for the price though
Hi. The 5khz frequency is damn good on silver hammer and jewellery, Thinking of purchasing the terra pro as a backup to my musketeer (5khz) Plus not worrying about beach work as and when time allows due to being waterproof Along with multiple frequencies to choose, Or msybe the 540, still in reasesrch mode.
Question for you ... Did you do the initial "noise cancel" and "ground balance" steps off camera before making this video...? I had recently ask MineLab a question on using same detector and they replied back that I was to always do those two procedures or steps first, and even again if I were to change frequency....
Nice review on xterra pro, thanks for that. If you do test again with xterra pro could you test in park one on same targets please as would be very interesting as a detectorist said 15 kHz in park 2 was best settings. Our soil is different but would be interesting. Thanks regards Del
@@unearthed-detecting-tv thanks for reply but I'll probably by one anyway as booked a dig on Tom's dig in Somerset next weekend. I did own nox 800 and liked the machine but health reasons put the mockers on it couple of years ago so couldn't detect. Anyway on my last message I said park 1 when I ment park 2 so park 2 is the interesting one especially for trashy or iron sites. I have actually been detecting for 30 or so years on and off as love fishing too. I've had loads of different machines to many to mention I expect. Best machine for me was Whites xlt, just loved its versatility. Sorry back to the xterra pro! Well I can't believe these days you can get that machine for such a good price point. I think personally some people or detectorists especially new people to the hobby miss a hugely important point on a metal detector and it's abilities. OK depth yes pretty important but the key 🔑 after 30 odd years of detecting is..... adjustable target separation or in other words recovery speed adjustments. I could go on and on about which machines are best after 30 ish years of detecting but the ones with adjustable recovery speeds are superior, just think about it. I have nothing to do with any manufacturer and don't sell machines have just used all the old stuff actually. My take is the xterra pro for £299 with its features especially the recovery mode at that price is incredible. Wish I had one 30 years ago. Don't forget recovery speed is most important, good hunting 👍
Loved your video. Been watching a lot of videos about theX terra pro. Just wandering if you have ever tried the mine-lab vanquish on the Hoard if so how did it do?
Great little machine 👍. although I think minelab missed a trick by not allowing the ML80 headphones to work on it. nothing worse than having to spend out on another pair of headphones when you already have a decent pair 😕. I reckon this will kick the new simplexs seven ways to Sunday 🙂👍
Looks like a very capable machine it would be better if it came with wireless headphones or can connect to any wireless headphones without using a transmitter/receiver
Hi wayne, the truth is that this machine is deep, accurate, stable on 10 & 15 KHZ and is packed with features, people's finds rate will improve with this detector
@@unearthed-detecting-tv thank you. Since i never hit the beaches, and re-entering as a dectorist, after 10 years of absence i’ll probably get this machine. Great videos!
Your sweep is very fast ,and the machine is still picking targets up.Nice one.
it looks fast on film but its quite normal, its only done that way for the film and th viewers to watch john
👍 thanks for a great video on the machine I’ve been testing in garden and getting great results
The goodies will come to you soon mate

Looked very impressive on your test bed, will get out over the next few days and give it a run.
Enjoy it ron, i think you will love it
Thank you, nice review Graeme, looks a very capable machine. 👍🏻
Glad no parental guidance needed to watch this second version of the video! 😊
Agreed Neil ,its extremely capable! Unlike my first video! 😄

Great demo Graeme for the money It’s a fantastic detector easy to adjust and good build quality.
A very smart machine len, have you been out with yours yet?

@Leonard Jackman excellent results len, i look forward to seeing your finds this year!
Awesome test Graeme, that seems to be a nice machine!
Hi jerry,.many thanks sir 👍👍
A good in depth look at using it. Not sure if it's my sort of machine but it does perform well. I wonder what it's like on wet beach sand
I think it will be very good mate, i think you would enjoy this more than most too kev
@Unearthed UK need to watch more performance vids I reckon

You have to put the machines into perspective price wise mate, the nox range is formidable
Great test, well done.
Hi chris, hope you are well sir 👍
Nice video, looks like it can just about run with the big dogs
Indeed chuck👍
It will be interesting to see it on the beach some U.S guys say the 8khz works a treat.
Hopefully to venture onto the beaches soon mate

Hi rob, yes ,if you look at the earlier tests on the 340 we tried it
Hope you have a brilliant weekend and happy easter you legend 👍
Hi tezza , hope you are ok mate, have a great easter too
Good video. What do you think - is it better than vanquish ? :-) choose as the first detector. in my area mostly fields.
Both are very good, the x terra has more robust features but the vanquish is very good, hard choice sir
I love the look of this machine its a great buy 😍
A very good machine mel💥
Thanks

Yes wireless headphones coming soon for it
It's not only a performer, it's a sexy looking machine too

would going from a vanquish 440 to x terra have any advantages other than it being waterproof

you play guitar rather well G. Great price to performance
The one thing i would love to do is play the guitar but i leave that to the experts! Music courtesy of a mr david jaggs ( legend!)
Xterra pro or vanquish 440 please help 🙏
Oh now there is a choice! Both brilliant, i love the 440, and the x terra is immense overall
