So, if blocks with your engines fall out of your car, the car stops because the game no longer recognizes them as part of the car, and engines can't power separate vehicles. (This leads me to believe that ropes aren't classified as vehicle pieces.) The game runs calculations to check what pieces are now new vehicles every time something breaks. (i.e. when the **KRAK** **SNAP** thing appears, or when decouplers are used. Also, the breaking thing doesn't apply to decouplers, only vehicle separation.) This is why if anything breaks while the Tesla glitch is occurring, it stops. So, if you separate the engines from the wheels and such by using a method that doesn't break the vehicle (either TNT, because it disappears, or the boxing glove glitch) the game still thinks the two parts are one vehicle, because according to it, nothing broke off, so the vehicle is still whole. The physics engine, something completely separate, calculates velocity, gravity, drag, and such. It runs calculations on every piece on every frame, so when the Tesla glitch is in effect, the physics engine realizes the separation, and cuts the weight. However, the game engine still thinks the two vehicles are together, and doesn't reduce the power from the engines. The explosive rockets now work, as it has a smaller explosion than TNT. But the spring must remain on the plane, so that the glitch will work.

For Smankusors... I used this the things that u did in this video. I used it to make a helicopter (My video) and I noticed that u didd'nt need the grapple (green thing) or the fan. All you needed to do is make sure none breaks off or something. I recommend going to my channel for evidence.

You can put a spring in between the plane and the TNT, this will absorb impact but not enough to not let it go, making it almost always work.
