Very cool ! The DeBeers is a stunning crystal :) With the smaller version easily giving earphone volume, it puts me back on track with the ones i'm growing at the moment..thanks for the update.
I placed a clear quartz pointer crystal on top of my piano and surprisingly, the treble sounds much clearer even in humid days. Usually the sound is muffled in humid days. I am wondering quartz has the power to balance sound waves. Thanks for the video, inspiring!
Hi, I am very interested in your idea's on crystals. I have been trying for 2 years to make something to send sound waves to a diaphragm on an Edison Phonograph recorder to record direct from my laptop. There is a chap in the USA that has made one but he won't tell how, he did mention a crystal on one of his video's on youtube and he was selling his device but has now stopped selling it. here is a link to one of his video's. RECORDING FROM THE IPAD TO A CYLINDER I'm not very technically minded so I would appreciate any help. Many Thanks Gordon.

Ceramic magnets, such as the dark, dull grey fridge magnets, are made of non-conductive material.
Nice videos!!!! Fantastic) Could you make a humidifier with piezo crystal?
Yeah, the volume surprised me too.
Because I didn't think to try that at all. It probably would be better, as you say. :)

I don't think it would have worked anyway, so no loss. :)
