- Elevate your Annihilation 5 gameplay with this near-AFK strategy guide! Once your operators are in place, you'll only need to manually activate Arene's skill three times-at the 237, 305, and 330-kill marks. Opt to use Lappland instead of Arene, and you can enjoy a fully AFK experience!
Operator Substitutions:
*Purestream*: Any E1 or higher therapist will suffice. In this guide, I've used a Purestream at E1 Level 1 with Skill Level 1, which works perfectly fine. Alternative Options: Whisperain, Lumen.
*Arene*: Choose your highest-DPS lord. Midnight unfortunately falls short in terms of damage output. Examples: Lappland (recommended due to her auto-trigger skill and ability to silence ice bugs), Thorns, Silverash (Skill 3).
*Kroos*: Any anti-air sniper or chain caster will fit the bill. Examples: Meteor, Pudding.
*Beagle*: Opt for a defender with high DEF. Examples: Bubble, Cuora.
*Noir Corne*: Any defender works, but those with higher HP/RES are preferable. Examples: Cardigan, Gummy, Matterhorn.
*Hibiscus*: Choose your strongest single-target healer for this role. Examples: Gavial (recommended for her automatic skill), Sussurro.
*Perfumer*: Any multi-target healer will be suitable here.
*2x Vanguards*: This role is flexible-any vanguards should suffice.

Even though I cleared this ages ago, it's nice to see videos of new ops on old annihilation maps. Good stuff!
This guide was fantastic, thank you so much for it. It's the perfect mix of helpful things: the clear arrows showing what the deployment orientations are, clear marking of when the non-afk portions are (both in terms of the video length and stage progression), suggestions of which operators to use as replacements including alternatives to make it fully afk, and it uses two six star operators which I feel gives the average newish or casual player a solid chance of having at least one and being able to borrow the other, while also making a stage substantially easier than restricting it to a single six star in a lot of cases. You've thought of a lot of small things that add up to big usability and flexibility, and it's much appreciated. Thanks again!

I try this strat by exchange perfumer to deploy defender in front of ChongYue (S3M2), and it works. But in left side you must use medic defender or any lane holder
