You should plug those solar panels into the built in MPPT on the front left! This standard MPPT is built into the Yeti 1500X and allows up to 600W. The old MPPT module only allows ~320W
User's Comment: This video may have convinced me to invest in a backup power solution for my next camping trip. Any recommendations on reliable brands or models?Response: I highly recommend checking out the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series. It offers a massive capacity, powerful output, and fast recharging. With its waterproof design and comprehensive protections, it's perfect for outdoor adventures. Plus, the smart app control allows you to easily manage and monitor your energy usage.
I thought that the yeti x series doesn't support the external mppt controller. One of my frustrations was only being able to charge either off solar or wall but not both.
Way too much money for only 600 watts of solar energy! I paid 1/3 the price for a second hand 3.5kw or 3,500 watt 18 panel systems! Why and how would this save you anything?
*I love the Input/Output wattage function along with the % of charge remaining. solar **Generater.Systems** Well done.*
