Thanks for the recommendations. I’ve read about 11 of the Sharpe series books and the first book in The Last Kingdom series by Cornwell. I nearly checked out The Essex Dogs at the library last weekend so maybe this is my sign to go ahead and read it. 🙂
Thanks. Historical fiction is my first love before I started getting into fantasy. But recently I’ve being going back to historical fiction so this has come at a great time! Thanks!
Manda Scott's Boudica and before that prehistoric fiction like Jean M. Auel's Earth's Children series, and The First North Americans series by husband and wife, Micheal & Katherine Gear. 📖🥰📚
@williamgwynne I really think that is why I love when SFF pulls inspiration from ancient times I get so immersed. All because back in the summer of 198, someone handed a 16 year old girl, The Clan of the Cavebear , when she ran out of Haliquin Regency Romance during a camping trip... 🏕 📚🥰📖📚📚📚📚📚🤣🤣🤣
Looking forward to get the “Boudicca” and “Three Kingdoms” novels later this year/early next year. Also reminded me to get back to the Shardlake novels! 😄 Cheers!
@@williamgwynne I know I have read the two first books, «Dissolution» & «Dark Fire», I might have read book 3 «Sovereign» too, but returning to series, I think I anyway would have started by reading from that one.
Oh yeah! Heroes of Chaos at the 33rd spot! Thank you so much for mentioning my books so often on your channel(s). Truly appreciated.
It’s an absolute pleasure! Once I’m caught up on your releases I’m sure half this list will be your works 🤣
Started reading historical fiction after seeing you and your brother's reviews. Glad to see this series.
That is so amazing to hear! An honour to introduce you to historical fiction :). Hope you find some recommendations that intrigue you!
