Actually ironically pierces game was like Lukas. Not the 3s portion but they both played at a very slow place. If anyone remembers pierce he was very slow in his movements. The problem with a player like Luka and pierce is there going at there pace and most defenders and players in the NBA are fast and twitchy so they can't figure out how to slow down to Lukas or pierces pace. They over pursue or are too quick left to right right to left. Luka uses there athleticism against them. Bit that's why I said because pierce speed was the sane way if there was ever a player that could theoretically guard him it would be pierce because he wouldn't over pursue or fly by. But only because of that. There is one guy or two that I think could guard Luka in the history of the game and that's Bruce bowen and Tony Allen. Yo, speaking as a Lakers fan. I was in the latter part of high school when that finals happened. Those Celtics had a certain fear factor to them at home + they're the only team I can remember that was literally built to win the chip for that one specific year. There was a certain level of inevitability with them. And the funny thing is this 24 Celtics team has a better home record than the 08 team yet they don't feel anywhere near as dominant. Right now I'd be shocked if Dallas doesn't get a split in those first 2 games. In 08 you could just pencil in an 0-2 start for the Lakers.
