Gloria - winner of the RCN Foundation Leathersellers Impact Award 2024

Miriam Gloria G. Sikapite (Gloria) was awarded a grant towards an Adult Nursing BSc at the University of Hertfordshire. Working as a nurse in the uro-oncology research team, Gloria wanted to be a nurse since the age of 17, after experiencing good and bad practice in nursing.
Gloria says, “I want to be there for my patients and their families, supporting them through what is the most vulnerable period in their lives".
