...Nb8 was a little weird: because that sort of queenside pawn wrastling is characteristic of the NiD, where ...Na5 is the move in a lot of variations. With the dsb fianchettoed it makes even more sense because the two minor pieces can combine to hit white's queeside. Throw in ...Bf5 and the position is equal, but I think it's a little easier to play black's position.
