1:50 “He means he went to one galaxy, his a$$ went to another” 🤣 Karl Urban delivered this line perfectly 🤣
well he went to fight riddick and some demons on mars as well
Bones: "Dam it jim, im a doctor, not a space marine"
all I got left is my bones
I love how literally right after Karl Urban says that the dude's legs suddenly come through
Yeah, flashback sequence
Back when the Rock wasn't so full of himself
Yeah the man's ego is all over the place trying to be better than everyone it's lame.
@AnthonyMcqueen1987 yeah well I don't think the Rock knew at that time he was going to be such big movie star like he is now. Man earned his dues.
He steroid his dues you mean.
@kevkas You don't think you're little superhero actors are not doing steroids? Get a grip.
I secretly love this movie and I dunno WHY!!!...
1 word......Dwayne the rock Johnson

If you watch it as a dumb B-SciFi action movie it's fun to watch every 5 years on a boring evening.
If you watch it as the Doom adaptation, which it was supposed to be, it's disappointing.
@@rickmaldoo4205 More specifically, one of the few times The Rock actually plays a bad guy
this is one of this cheesy s-f movies everyone hate but secretly love :)
Maybe back in the day. Now everybody openly loves it loo
This was such a good film
I loved it too
I loved this film but unfortunately because it was called “Doom” it did get backlash. Many fans of the doom franchise didn’t like this film due to no doom guy and the differences it had from the games, but now even the Doom gaming fans are starting to like this a bit more. It didn’t deserve the hate it got when it come out.
@@kevsdigitalartsmore3743 Yes you are absolutely right. It was and still is a good mouvie.
@@kevsdigitalartsmore3743 No doom guy is incredibly insulting.
The title is "Doom".
I'd say it's justified (The backlash)
@@kevsdigitalartsmore3743 ... Yes that's correct. All fans of any source material expect any sort of adaptation to be as close to the source material as possible. Other film adaptations have also had their own backlash in history. For example, this includes some backlash for David Lynch's movie adaptation of Dune 1984. For Watchmen 2009, it was pretty accurate to the source, except at the end, but still pretty good. The Wing Commander 1999 movie adaptation of the PC game was awful especially when it had a decent budget. Starship Troopers 1997 was decent although not as accurate to the novel. Dune 2021 1+2 is decent though still not as accurate as it should be with the primary thing going for it was updated eye candy & also has its own set of backlash such as the wokeness & the monochromatic cinematography. Harrison's Dune 2000 tv miniseries is still considered the most accurate to the Herbert novel, story-wise. For Doom 2005, the major flaw for the adaptation was that the game's lore did not even exist in the movie, even if the game's author had its blessing on the project. Doom fans expected the invasion of demonic interdimensional extraterrestrials. What we got instead was human genetic engineering with ancient Martian microbes, with the "interdimensional" part of it as just another Star Trek transporter, as seen in this clip, not "interdimensional" as in to another dimension. Yes, on its own, it was decent. The irony though was that if it indeed had another title & anything tied to the game (such as the UAC) was not in it, the game fans would have ironically sensed that it was just a copy of the Doom game. I am/was heavily a PC Doom gamer myself, 3 decades ago. I still have the shareware 3.5-inch floppy diskette for it from 1994. I for one would love to see a more accurate Doom film adaptation in the future. It's been 2 decades now, so this is a good time for a new one.

The Rock actually looks black here
Yeah either steroids bleach your skin or he's had something done to look more 'marketable'
Its a worm hole, don't make me take out the paper and pen draw 2 circles and a line and fold paper in half and poke pen through to show passing through gateway that bends space-time
its a cheep budget stargate only one drop of water if you will!

One of my favourite movies ever 💀
the arc may be possible. i am thinking if u can take a pill to look like a super model, u can teleport over distances
The rock was closer to a pebble back then!
He was the Scorpion King back then.
