- This is a video of the assembly and my review of this tennis ball mower rolling ball hopper collector. It may also be called a tennis ball retriever. When you are out hitting on the tennis ball machine or practicing your serve with a lot of ball, it can get fatiguing to have to constantly pick up balls off the ground. This product will keep you from having to bend down and pick up balls. Just roll over the tennis balls with this tennis ball collector. This rolling tennis ball hopper allows you to pick the tennis balls up much faster than by hand or tennis ball tube collector. It's actually not that bad. Just pull all three strings on the hook and you'll be able to empty the basket much easier. Another tip is to not fill the basket too full.

That is why I make these videos. To give you a visual representation of it being used. It helps to let you make a more informed decision if its right for you or not. It's not right for everyone. If you are expecting it to perform as well as a multiple hundred dollar or thousand dollar machine, then it will not. But for less than $60, it does a decent job if you are not in a huge hurry. @@ReichpoloTech Yes, probably good enough for personal use to keep from having to bend over. Indeed, those real ball mowers are so overpriced. I was fortunate enough to pickup a half dozen Playmate mowers for 50 bucks a pop when a local club closed down a decade ago. Big &bulky, but pickup's a breeze!

I've been searching for any video reviews for this product and there are NONE that I could find. Until today! Thanks for the review! I was thinking about getting Kollectaball's but the price and the reviews on the chore of assembling it turned me away from purchasing it.
Question, do you prefer picking up with the roller or the ball basket?
Glad it was helpful! I like using the roller when I'm by myself. If I am doing a lesson or hitting the ball machine with another person, then I I we use both. So it goes quicker. The advantage of using the roller, to me, is that I don't have to carry the ball basket around the court. Its not super heavy but it is heavier than not having to lift and carry one from ball to ball. I hope this is helpful. Thank you for your comments.
Quick question, would this work with pickleball given the slight difference in ball sizes?
I’ve have never tried pickleballs but I would not recommend it. I think with the very light weight and slipperyness of the plastic balls, that it would not work well for them.
Good demo , unfortunately its not easy to find this product on Amazon. I wonder ,its because it never worked for people and too many returns. Howz your product holding up so far ?
It is working , just ok, it's not falling apart or anything, but I can't roll over balls as fast as I had hoped. It functions decently, but you can't be in a hurry.

They could take a lesson from the stupid round ball hopper that has one good feature, It has a square handle that doubles as a base up side down. I like this one better since it gets in corners better. Also like covered here it needs a better opening style to dump. I would cut one of the three braces and add another bungie cord to keep from having balls spill while hopping. Even a trap door.
Yes I agree with all of your comments. It does have some shortcomings, but it’s a relatively cheap option that beats bending over a hundred times.
