I love how the problem turned out to be a positive, gives the car a subtle boost to the motorsport look, without going too far. What a fabulous build Andrew, if you might like to feature in my 'owner stories' series of driving videos, please give me a shout 😎👍
Great Color. I was afraid that you was changing the main Color. I would never have thought of of that Color and it looks so Good. The Yellow you picked out is Perfect.
Absolutely stunning Andrew. The yellow definitely looks period correct, and is a brilliant addition to the car. Well done mate. Love the toolkit as well 👍👍
Still feel you've got one of the best GT40 Replica's in the country. Love the new color scheme too. As for the oil leak, hey mate we've all been there. Just happy its been found and sorted! Time to get some miles under your bum now and let others see your stunning work. Safe travels.
Great work again Andrew, I do like the yellow stripe. Also from the side it does look a bit like an A for Andrew with the location of the opening catch etc. Neat leather tool bag a nice touch. It’s all about the attention to detail. Hope you get in lots of miles this year. Best.
Saw the car “in the flesh” (or fibreglass) at the FAV 60th Anniversary celebration at Slough last W/E. Overall fit and finish is superb and a credit to you 👏. The toolkit bag is a great idea I might copy and I took lots of photos of your carb installation as that’s next on my list. Mine just passed it’s MOT yesterday so taxed and on the road again in May. 🏁
I didn't know where you were going with this but I see it now. Those yellow stripes definitely 'complete' the car. Such a little detail but what a massive difference it makes. Beautiful.
Hey Andrew, Great to see you keeping up with the never ending chores of keeping a cool car “cool”! I too have put the drivers side (left side) hash strips on my Pantera as well. But I used vinyl wrap instead of paint just incase I change my mind. The car hasn’t been on the road for 18 months due to engine-out refresh. Great job on that dipstick business.. Fords…😂 Later!!
That looks brilliant! Didn't think yellow would work with that shade of green but, wow! I will say, a leather strap with a buckle would be more period. Unless you worked for NASA, not many had access to Velcro back then. Just my unsolicited RUclips viewer opinion.

I've always been sure that envy is a foreign concept to me. Not any longer.

Very nice Andrew! I like the color and the quality of your work is awesome as usual. The tool kit is a must do for me too. Great video also😊
Thanks 👍

Thanks a ton!

Really appreciated as always James, thank you :-)
Hey up mate the yellow (with an A for Andrew) worked a treat
Great job Andrew! A little contrast really makes the car.
Looks incredible Andrew. My fav paint job on a gt40.
Thank you, really appreciate it

I'd not noticed the 'A' but now you mention it I can't 'un-see' it! LOL
Didn't expect it after the first spray of yellow, but the result is great! Looks more year 70 racy
REALLY love the yellow contrast!
Brilliant. I like that a lot, well done!
Thank you! Cheers!

Thanks Frank, a shame we didn't actually get chance to have a chat! Although I could see you busy most of the day compering, great job!
You have really good taste, I one my favorite gr40’s

Thank you, I'm glad you can see the vision I had now the works completed
The yellow is a nice addition, Andrew. Your neglecting to reinforce that area originally turned out to be a happy accident.
Thanks as always William!
NICE !
Love it! Great video.

Love it! Great job, brave move but it really works!

HAHA, the imaginary builder of this car back in the 60's worked at NASA...
Andrew that really turned out great! I wonder if adding numbers to the car roundels will complete the look even more?
With all the great paint work you’ve done, do you plan on covering the car and windshield in PPF to keep things protected and chip free?
Nope, I'm more than happy for the car to pick up stone chips so start giving it that 'used' look
Can we get some recent footage of it running/driving?
I'm hoping to in the next couple videos :-)
Does anyone know what happened to Built by Dan?
Great stripes Andrew. Love it n
