Best of luck with the new build Andrew. I’m sure I will learn new ideas and skills to work on my own cars from your meticulous and perfectionist approach to your work 👍🤞
WOW! I didn't see that coming! I was wondering what you were going to come up with to match the GT40 and you knocked it out of the park. I can't wait to see you get into this.
Watched every GT40 video you produced and enjoyed seeing your attention to detail on the rebuild so why should anything be different for this build. I'm in!! Should be an epic series. A series in the US called "Bitchin Rides" built a spectacular version of the Gullwing which proved to test their patience and expertise so I'm curious to see how you handle some of the same issues and overcome them. As said, I'M IN! Good luck 👍.
Really excited for the new build. Have been following some of the build pictures of others online, so can’t wait to see your coming together. This is going to be epic Andrew 👍🏼
Wow! What an amazing choice. Never knew they made repop SL300 bodies. You've already cut your teeth with a fiberglass project so this should just slap together, right? Hehe. I know what you mean about trying to build in a 2 car garage with shop tools/benches and 2 vehicles. I have wheel dollies under whichever one I'm not working on so I can shove it up against one side. Can't wait to see this come together. Congrats!
Oh sry, I agree it was complete and very satisfying, I just meant that there seemed to be more updates with less detailed build steps. It's obviously a hard balance to get right - too much detail can drag and I'm sure it must be a burden to film and edit. Can't wait to see your new build, I already know it will be amazing.
Ready to follow this new build like the GT40 ! Not my type of car this time but a very interesting project. Honestly with your skills i expected a recreation of the original tubular chassis and not a donor car 😉
I wish you all the best on your new journey, I will watch with great interest. Did you see Kindig customs Gull wing project, worth a watch. Does the company supply the glass for it ? I found getting the glass for my project a Dax Daytona coupe a struggle.
Yes I watched Kindig's build all those years ago, what a project! I've been able to source 90% of the glass, just working on the last few pieces needed. Nothing with these cars is an easy source unfortunately. the chase is all part of the fun

Awesome choice
Fab project, not easy, hard work, but will be fantastic experience and amazing when she is done.
Indeed this was the first video of hours I stumbled across and I subbed straight away! Really looking forward to following along
Awesome! Welcome along for the ride!
Just found you channel. Looking forward to the build! I have the opposite problem to you on my build...loads of space but no idea what I'm doing 😂
Knowing how you work and your high standards this should be an interestiing journey!

Thanks Charlie! It's going to take some serious space juggling that's for sure!
Let's go! The last build was awesome (though you did skip a lot of steps near the end for the vids :( It must have been torture selling the GT40.
Thanks Mark, what did I skip with the GT40? It felt a pretty complete 'story', let me know so I don't do the same with this one

Awesome project, would you be willing to share what manufacturer you chose for the SL300 body?
I will in time :-)
