Lauren, as a Mother of four myself I thought would I would just make a suggestion . I obviously don't know you, and how you do things with your children, but I can only tell you from experience with my own kid's. Lauren, you work really hard all the time up at 4:00 your going to have Mom burnout from all the work I was doing! So I started letting my young kids do more chores like there laundry, making their bed's, sweeping 🧹 putting pillows and throw blankets back in the couch 🛋️, because it's hard to keep going at the pace you're going! So be careful with that, my Doctor said I got thyroid disease because I wore my body out all the time trying to have the perfect house, and I had all my kids less than two years apart.

I just wanted to thank you for your videos. I feel overwhelmed with a master bathroom remodel and remodel of an outdoor building - doing all ourselves...and need/want to decorate 4 trees for Christmas....this morning - just didn't know how I was going to start such a tiring day all over again - rushing to get a lot done before the snows come - but put on your video - cleaned the kitchen and am now decorating. What you do is IMPORTANT - motivation is a very vital - yet delicate thing in life - and you help people with that - never forget the positive impact you are having on people's lives! 🙂

Moving the console table into the nook is a great idea if it fits. Also removing the lamps and adding a garland with just twinkle lights and decor would look amazing!

Yes, I like to have a clean space before decorating. This year I'm doing a candy/gingerbread theme. My daughter loves the vintage pink and aqua theme. Maybe if you scattered some of those white fluffy rugs on your sideboard then place your decor on top of that with a sprinkling of snow with some of those twinkle lights tucked in, you might like it better. I love all your decorations. I love your Halloween but your Christmas decor is spectacular!

As far as needing to make my bed every day.. its an absolute must! Idk why, but it just makes me feel slightly better knowing that I have one simple thing done so easily! As for the rest... well, if all I did was clean, I would never get any sleep. So I just do what I can after work and when I get up in the evening I'm all abt needing to eat dinner and get ready for that night's work. Its not been exactly normal lately, so I have been being forgiving myself if I don't get something extra done that day.
The family room is just beautiful! Love the theme ❤️. Personally I need a clean house to have a clear mind, if that makes sense. I'm right there with you!

I don't buy new Christmas decorations anymore. I'm a recovering shopaholic. I donated and decluttered. This year I made garland out of ribbon and hot glued buttons on them. I do love to watch Christmas decoration videos. I love seeing all the different themes people create in their homes. Bless your heart for wanting to decorate all those trees. I'm sure it's so magical for your children ❤️🌲🌲🌲🌲 I switched to real trees last year because I've lost the desire to fluff out and store artificial trees. This year I bought a 3.5-4 foot tree and placed it on my beverage cart.

Same. I get distracted by messes and can’t focus on the work. When I was in nursing school I used to have to study at the library so I wouldn’t be distracted by dishes or laundry lol

We have an older cat and older dachshund. They have a water bottle that automatically refills the bowl. The cat loves to watch the bubbles. It makes him mad if the bottle is empty to the point that he will knock the bottle off the holder. Such an attitude. Sometimes we catch him guarding the water bottle from our dachshund. He has been caught trying to slap her to stop her from drinking.

I have 3 trees in the house but I’ve never decorated my room. I divorced about 6 years ago so I kinda gave up on making my bed everyday, I might try to make it a habit this year. I love your decor and I definitely need your Christmas organizer . My fave place to shop is hobby lobby!

Yes, I also have to clean the kitchen before I start cooking or baking. And I also clean before I sit down to eat, pots and pans done. I use to do so much when I had smaller children, now that I am older I have very minimal decor. I enjoy watching all your lovely ideas, and espically your cooking.

I really love the wreaths in the windows…so pretty ♥️🎄 we only have one tree (our house is pretty small so no room for more) and I let my kids decorate it every year. I’m the same way! I work from home and the whole house has to be picked up before I can sit down to work in the mornings… it’s just part of my normal everyday morning routine now.

I’m exactly the same…. I also have to get myself ready to begin my day…ONLY if it’s raining or snowing out do I have relaxed days but I still get partially ready …AND when I wash my sheets…I used to still make the bed with my comforter….But now I spray & air my mattress out…

I wonder if you could enclose a fun lower shelving unit for the tv things on that spot in living room then change out shelves for something that blends in more. I think the gold edge is throwing it off. Then you could put art and your other cute things.
