Nerf is slowly becoming Asphalt 8, because “their” creators are just making everything so bad that most fans will just leave, and it will eventually end
I think when Elite came out it was as powerful as they are legally allowed to make in most countries, some like australia already had dumbed down versions because its too strong. Without the ability to make things shoot harder all they can do is make it shoot faster. They can't really improve on the elite designs all they can really do is invent a new dart "ultra" which instead of making functional they made shit and cheap so they can make even more off dart sales. New gimmicks are the only real thing they can put out
Alright I know what Asphalt is but why not compare Elite to something like Halo or Call of Duty. Same thing happening with those. Also what happened to Asphalt? One day it's pretty popular the next day it's gone. Well my 9 year old brother play it but not sure who else does :/

The problem with the Motostryke's trigger spring is that.... It's not even a traditional spring. It's a leaf spring type that has two thin curved plastic arms that are supposed to return the triggers, but fail most of the time.

Some helpful tip to anyone who has the troubles with the trigger, after some time to look at the internals i fixed my motostryke trigger by just sanding down the rev switch stop just a lil then smoothing down the area on the trigger where it hits the stop, it helps it move ALOT smoother of a trigger pull and all you need is some sand paper. Hope this helps!
Was kinda considering buying this blaster after seeing it at Toy Fair. Kinda mad that NERF didn't replace that spring with a better one. It just seemed like a simple thing to do that would've made the blaster good. I also got frustrated when I saw the test firing! Here's hoping the next MEGA flywheel blaster is better, and looking forward to your upcoming reviews, Coop!
One thing to consider is when it comes to manufacturing, batches are produced in large amounts. Those batches are distributed over many cities across the States. Many of those distribution centers provide the same batches to many different stores, which is why you can come across the same issue despite being from different stores. The safest bet you can take is finding any manufacturing codes or lot numbers and comparing them. If they are the same, it could mean they're from the same batch. Best bet would to be buying one product, waiting for that product to run dry or be refreshed with new stock, and trying that.
Your first person view when shooting is very much like a left handed user with the gun to the left of the screen, nice! Being a lefty myself, I'd love to see more FPS games with the option to change handedness in the game
I've noticed some problems with the trigger locking up (on mine) were because the rev tigger was getting slightly out of full compression so it engages the trigger lock but the fly wheels are still revving.
My dad and I bought these things, and we don’t have trigger issues. Got them for 20 bucks on clearance at target for each (40 total) plus we got 4 extra bullet boxes. We have nerf wars with em all the time. Fun guns to use overall

Hey Coop I was going through my Nerf collection and found my Motostryke that I bought the day after it came out and I noticed that my trigger doesn’t stick or anything and returns to the fire position perfectly. Not sure if it matters just thought I would post this to let you know. Keep up the great work.
I agree, I recently got mine. But my trigger is coloured grey and coops is orange, maybe I have a newer design or something, but it works absolutely flawlessly

The spring issue can be solved by pulling it every so slightly so it will have a hardtime fitting back because it's extended. Like how in springers when you left it primed the spring will be compressed a go weak so if you expand it a little it will be stronger. Though try at your risk I am not responsible for the damage of your blasters as you have chosen to do it yourself. Try at your own risk. As this has no guarantee that that will work.

Thanks Coop. I was excited for this blaster to become available, but from your review (and from those of a few others) it seems that the 'budget Elite 2.0 disease' got into the Motostryke's internals. Sad times.
You should make a nerf fort 4.0 with the minigun and the lo mg chain from the 430 dart challenge, a couple Prometheus’s, an entry and some walls with tactical claymores, the nerf mortar, a spring thunder, and rations

I actually got a Motostryke. The problem you had with yours didn’t happen to mine, but my trigger seized up every 3 shots. It was so annoying.

Mine doesn't have that issue with the trigger. It does however have an issue with the mage release. It's a little "sticky"
