I love how this starts in the realm of the probable, practical and sensible, and it ends with Iori wanting to know if you mad 'cause he's stylin' on you.
@nothingxs It's one of my favourite pieces of music in any game to date. It stands on its own as a really competent work of art even outside the context of the soundtrack IMO.
Purple explosions everywhere! d: I'll buy the DLC characters if they all come in a bundle at a discounted price. Right now, there are so many characters I need to try out.
@jetblaksuit Oh thanks so much! :D I tend to prefer making impractical stuff since you see so few people willing to record it, and classic Iori has mostly pretty boring B&Bs in my opinion. Plus if you can pull off any of these when you know your combo will KO regardless then it's an amazing way to get the opponent flustered.
@mintystale It's really weird how that Neomax cancel can whiff. It does so quite often if you cancel out of the super as early as possible, but some hits (like hit 4) may or may not whiff all other things being equal.
@Curakill I don't think that a person should be expected to play a game only if they're going to take it to a competitive level. Also, people don't have to do side research just to get moves to come out in any other genre, and if they have to put in *extra* work just to get the same amount of satisfaction from a game, they'll look elsewhere. Starcraft 2 is a great example of a competitive game that has some really in-depth training exercises to help new players become pros. Why not have that?
@Bamskrull I'm still confused as to what causes that bug. A neomax on or around that particular hit just whiffs for no reason sometimes and not others.
It'd be nice if you could explain how it's done step by step. I mean, I love KOF and when I saw EVO 2012 for KOF13, I was like "I want that game, so cool!" because these players were pulling off combos that were amazing to watch and I was hooked. I got the game and it is a pain to learn how it goes but I still wanna play it. So far, I've been trying out characters and each person has a unique fight style. I guess that's a main reason why KOF is hard because each person is different.
is it possible to get Iori with flames in PC version??? cuz i dont have a PS3, i play with my laptop and by the way, can u tell me how do u do those chain combos one after another with incredible speed? which button did ya use to execute those combos so fast?
Both because I can't get the timing for combos right and cancelling moves to get into the hyper combos is something I have no idea how to execute because I follow the instructions in tutorial and it's so hard to do.
I really tried to get into SSF4 but I couldn't stand how it always devolves into a competition of who can drop fewer links. Strategy in that game always takes a back seat to execution and memorization of the weird hitboxes, I find.
@FantasticFranco That's interesting you find SSF4 too easy. I personally gave that game up primarily because I got sick to death of matches being determined by who dropped fewer pointlessly difficult 1 frame links.
Darn it, sigh Guess theres no iori with flames for me to use then, anyway, i heard about those combos executed so fast by using a "cancel" thing, some sort of like Max cancel, Special cancel?? how do you do that???
@ninjapiraka In my opinion they're way too hard for casual players to start playing. The vast majority of fighting games barely even explain all of their mechanics to an unfamiliar player, let alone teach you how to use them *well*. Then there's the question of whether complicated move inputs are good design in the first place. Can you imagine playing a Quake derivative and having to press 5 buttons in a specific rhythm just to fire your rocket launcher, while rocket jumping? And thanks!
DLC has existed for a long time. Remember "expansions" and "episodes"? Some of it certainly is a rip, like when you get companies selling unfair multiplayer advantages, or features which were clearly cut from release just to charge extra for. Flames Iori is genuine new content though and it's a tonne of gameplay for the price. If they didn't sell him as DLC, he wouldn't have gotten to exist at all. Besides would you rather have business models like Capcom's fake "sequels" flooding the market?
Ah thanks! To be fair I don't pretend to be an amazing Iori player. I end up spending whole rounds trying to open up one of these ridiculous combos rather than actually trying to win, so don't think that you need to do stuff like this to be good.
@SFtheWolf if you are not willing to put in the time to learn how to play the game why even get the game. All the info you need is available online if you look for it.
as much as i like kof and it being my fav fighting game i will not buy dlc of any kind just dont support such crap video games now days are ripping gamers off big time
Oh wow, great job on the video! Im liking the creativity you can do with the HD system.
I love how this starts in the realm of the probable, practical and sensible, and it ends with Iori wanting to know if you mad 'cause he's stylin' on you.
Damn. This video was super sick. Mostly impracticle shit but some of the most stylish combos I've seen since early BBCS2 combo vids. 10/10
Good stuff
Oh dear Iori, how I have missed your flames so much.
@nothingxs It's one of my favourite pieces of music in any game to date. It stands on its own as a really competent work of art even outside the context of the soundtrack IMO.
damn i really missed this guy!
Kyo FINALLY retaliated...
great conbos man! good job
@KepinginPunyaPacar The birds all get scared and fly up if someone lands hard on the ground. It's really nice looking.

El lugar de entrenamiento de Iori con las flamas era el lugar del equipo Rivales del Kof 95 la fabrica abandonada y con la musica de Kof 96
Purple explosions everywhere! d:

@SFtheWolf Also, you get beaucoup points for using '96 Arashi 2 AST.

Buen video.
lol i like the interupt at the end

lol i like the dancing part in 3.19 - 3.29!!
@damgoodsunny00 Hold select (I think) over regular Iori's portrait.
Dat ending.
3:17 0.0 dancing of flames
@ninjapiraka there's a demo on XBL and coming soon to PSN if you want to try it (I might have that mixed up).
@nothingxs Gotta let people know what normal looks like so the crazy looks craziest.
@Bamskrull I'm still confused as to what causes that bug. A neomax on or around that particular hit just whiffs for no reason sometimes and not others.

@thesaxion7 ¿Quiere usted decir que usted quiere saber cómo seleccionar Iori llamas? Acaba de celebrar "seleccionar" la hora de elegir Iori regular.

Good music
Good combos
Need to say more?

@SFtheWolf yeh its pretty weird. hopefully they'll fix it with a patch?
@FantasticFranco That's interesting you find SSF4 too easy. I personally gave that game up primarily because I got sick to death of matches being determined by who dropped fewer pointlessly difficult 1 frame links.
lol at the ending. kyo's like, i've had enough of this shit XD
@SFtheWolf these kinds of combos looks like very hard but when try it a couple of times it gets easier.
Do you mean combos in general or cancelling moves into each other?
Darn it, sigh Guess theres no iori with flames for me to use then, anyway, i heard about those combos executed so fast by using a "cancel" thing, some sort of like Max cancel, Special cancel?? how do you do that???
Wait until the pirated version of KoF XIII Climax...

is it true that these games are easy to play but hard to master amzing combos
Thumbs Up do you like the Iori laught 1:36

KOF13 is so hard to combo in! How do you do it? I try comboing but it's so hard!
That's like dozens of hours of fresh gameplay for $15 though.
Besides you don't need to buy them to stay competitive.
this dlc is new content
but its overcharged
$5 for each bonus char
that $15 plus the cost of the game i bought
Os combos do iori sao mais estilosos. Muita calma na hora de disputar poder, o iori cancelou poder no vento com dm...
Check out this video for the KoF fundamentals: /watch?v=Ye3KVgI1LvU&fmt=18
