Hello Elyah I just stubled over your site. I play The Black Lion and Bishop's Opening myself :) In this video, I belive playing g5 is a blunder (around 3:54). because of dxe5, dxe5, Nxe5, Qxe5, Bd4 followed by e5-e6 and a nasty pin on the h8 rook and open lines on the king. Always be careful with g5, when the bishop is on e3 or b2. I have fallen for that trap a few times :)
A couple of problems: (1) White could have played Ng5 a lot sooner than Black played h6, and Black either castles short, or f7 becomes a big problem. (2) The king is not safe in the center since after dxe5, White would take that open d-file quicker than Black can assert himself there. (3) and finally, White has lots of space to gain with pawn pushes on the queen side, so casting long is extremely risky. Try this against Fritz even in "friend" mode, and you'll see all the buzzsaws you run into.

Hello, thanks! I updated the trap in the second part, and 3rd, there are many traps that black should be aware. Check it out on my channel:)
After Be3 - g5 you are losing, because after dxe5 - dxe5, Kxe5 - Qxe5 and Bd4 you are busted ...
Nice thank you.
You are welcome 😊
When 8...h6 White has 9. Nh4! followed by dxe5 and a5 and Black cannot execute his plan.
after closing the center and waiting till black 0-0-0 white can just go Kf1 to seek shelter in the center
Thank you for this. I have been playing the lion incorrectly.
@@azbdizzy4176 you're welcome
perfect
Sir, I have a question please... Can we play this black lion against White's d4 opening ???
It's possible, but their is more chances for White to play c4 instead of e4 on the 2nd move
@@eleeyah Yes... Queen's Gambit...
@@eleeyah Can we demolish Queen 's Gambit by Black Lion ???
@@sandykarmakar Not that much, there is more convenient openings than black lion
@@eleeyah what is that ???
