No Muslim or scholar of Islam has ever read or interpreted the verses that you have quoted in a sexual manor. The Muslim scholars said that they will be "boys" that are a creation of paradise i.e. boys is just a similitude to give us an idea of how the servants may look. Some have gone on to say "scattered pearls" since they will be going around serving the hosts of paradise and not being idle etc and boys in the sense that they won't get tired or old. Paradise as described in the Quran is a description given over 1400 years ago to people who could relate to it and for people to be able to relate to it in time to come. It is sad that those that have certain perversions give such meanings when they were never intended. Thank you for this video. As a woman who likes sex (which is completely normal, yet religions made and run by men who have a bad view of women don't often acknowledge that) I could never understand wanting to have sex with a slave or someone who's mindless. If the other person isn't having fun, I'm not having fun. I wondered if men are so different when it comes to this that they don't care and your video showed me that they aren't. Sure, 7th century macho warriors may have been like that but a normal man capable of empathy today views sex very similarly as me. No Muslim or scholar of Islam has ever read or interpreted the verses that you have quoted in a sexual manor. The Muslim scholars said that they will be "boys" that are a creation of paradise i.e. boys is just a similitude to give us an idea of how the servants may look. Some have gone on to say "scattered pearls" since they will be going around serving the hosts of paradise and not being idle etc and boys in the sense that they won't get tired or old. Paradise as described in the Quran is a description given over 1400 years ago to people who could relate to it and for people to be able to relate to it in time to come. It is sad that those that have certain perversions give such meanings when they were never intended.

Thank you for this video. As a woman who likes sex (which is completely normal, yet religions made and run by men who have a bad view of women don't often acknowledge that) I could never understand wanting to have sex with a slave or someone who's mindless. Here, the problem would be that the child doesn't have the ability to research both points of view to come to a fair conclusion, or may be disinterested in doing so. I've a brother who's 12, and he says he converted out of Islam on the basis that there are so many religions the odds of Islam being true are too low, however when I try to convince him or present him with evidence he's not bothered to even read it. In regards to your first question, it is dependent on the definition of marriage to the child and parent and the societal beliefs about the 2. In the case of Muhammad (saw), I'm pretty sure it's more like they were betrothed rather than married, so that by itself wouldn't be seen as wrong, as the girl, once she's an adult, has the ability to decide whether or not she wants to divorce the man. After what I've established so far, a more appropriate question would be something like I consummated the marriage with your mother when she was 9. That would then depend on what the average of the time period for women or girls to become mature. At the time it was about 12, so it'd make sense for some to mature are 9.

As should all religious texts. After all they all are works of fiction, so why not put them in their proper place? Just because many people believe those texts to be true, does not make it so. The word "believe" says it all, it doesn't prove anything.

The only marriage that could possibly be broken would be hers. If she's married that is. Which begs the question: If you don't know if she's married or not, is it "adultery in your heart"?
