  • Waring's Pennsylvanians perform the song "The Dance Of The Blue Danube" with Tom Waring singing. I'm not sure who came up with the idea to "jazz-ify" Johann Strauss' Blue Danube Waltz, but whoever it was must have been onto something because this is a lovely tune! The lyrics are pretty fun to sing as well.
Here is the flip side: • Laugh! Clown, Laugh! -...
    Lyrics (Transcribed from: lyricsplayground.com)
Listen to the Danube, Blue Danube
When I hear the Danube, Blue Danube
    I see those dark-eyed Viennese
    Dancing into my memories
    Melody composed for a Venus
    It’s an inspiration of genius
I can dance from San Francisco to Maine
Just to hear the Danube again.

I absolutely love this song…one of my faves from the late ‘20s…the Pennsylvanians were one of the very best dance bands.
