It seems like the soundtrack takes a backseat when you're actually playing the game, but taking the time to listen, it's actually pretty damn good. Especially that final Lumine fight.
That logo looks really familiar. It reminds me of the time I did pixel art of a theoretical SNES version of X8, but I don't remember if mine looked exactly like that. The "8" specifically...
Nah, it just got me nostalgic. I spent a lot of time on the bob and george forums doing stuff like that. X8 was a big deal for me when it came out, and I tried to do lots of SNEs-style takes on the bosses and whatnot. I don't have any of those files saved though. For a sec I wondered if that was like the only thing from that time that had survived. But it's just as likely that other people had the same idea to do SNES-style pixel art of X8, including the title with the chrome effect on the "8". I certainly didn't invent that.
Fantastic remix! Makes me want a 16-bit demake of X8! Only thing that bugs me is the pause at 0:02, the guitar should continue into that pause, then down-pitch rapidly. You get what I mean, right?
This is incredible man! Can you consider making a fan game in the 16bit? Or maybe a remake of one of the later games with 16 bit music and graphics? :) that's my request :)
Yeah......X3's ALSO the same game which ost missed SO MUCH potential to be a great one, 11 second loops and 8 Maverick Theme's are the main culprit there.
@@bassandspaceable Yep! Breath of Fire 1 had the same bass instrument as Mega Man X1, and Breath of Fire 2 shares the overdrive guitar, brass, slap bass, and a similar sounding distortion guitar sample.
0:00 X1 Style
2:59 X2 Style (My favorite)
2:59 X2 version
Wait it’s separate style the whole time? I thought it was mixed styles.
@@blockhead10 yeah. there're two version.

I never took the time to listen to x 8's sound track but when i did....O R G A S M

ikr
the x8 and the x5 ost are a must when im travelling
It was an upgrade from frickin' mmx7....
Damn you too?
@@willowgunnerthelunaticbio-5933
x7 had a way better soundtrack though
My one complaint is that the three stab noises before the melody are off key in both versions. Aside from that, it's very good.
Oh my god! I love this song. One of my favorite boss themes in the entirety of Mega Man.
Can't wait for the Z4 version.
Nice remixes, nice title screen, nice everything!

i really hope this isn't implying what i think it is because i have almost a decade's worth of time crediting video art i don't make myself

Wow this is very accurate to the X1/X2 style. Especially the iconic X2 whiny synth guitar.
Though I kind of wish this also had the Hyper mode version of the fight, still a really great style.
I agree, you must do it!
Sounds badass👌👌👌👌👌
The x1 version sounds badass!
*This is a real intense and awesome boss theme!!*

Well, it pauses in the original song, too.
There is an X8 Demake, with a demo on SAGE.
Awesome work, dude! :D
I wish they kept the entire series on the SNES.
of atleasty make an x collection with all x-x8 in 16 bit.
I DEMAND X2 STYLE CUT AND EXTENDED TO 30 MINUTES. Shit rocks!
Impressionante, um dos melhores remixes de temas de Megaman X, senão o melhor.
Sounds awesome

X1 version has the better intro, but X2 version carried the melody better overall in my opinion. Great mix overall though!
plz do an X3 version
imao the X3 got the best music out of the 3
it also has the best "instruments" imao

NICEEEEE!!!
Amazing
Se oye mas épico en sonido de snes que el original
I like megaman x8 boss theme
Nice 16 bit remix. I like this one better than the original.
HARD AF
the X1 Instruments sounded better. Had a more...hm..fuller sound,a bit more polished than the sharp, halting X2 instruments.
I think Breath of Fire used the same..I noticed both games have very similar sounding instruments
I agree with this statement, but these styles are absolutely amazing combined. You should try it.
@@bassandspaceable Yep! Breath of Fire 1 had the same bass instrument as Mega Man X1, and Breath of Fire 2 shares the overdrive guitar, brass, slap bass, and a similar sounding distortion guitar sample.
Sensational!!!
X1 version kinda sounds like a Sigma stage theme
good that pasta
sounds like a badass xmen game for cps2 lol
How to i use the same guitar effect like in x1 and x2
Im using garage band for ipad instead of fl studio.
So please help me.
PS1/2やSSで性能が上がったのは分かるけどハードが変わってもこの雰囲気大事にしてほしかったな...
até que essa música ficaria boa no megaman x 3 assim quando eu lutasse contra os chefões até que seria legal
When will you do Z4 version?
Wauuu como hiciste eso como ha cambiado el estilo musical
i can place this song is my fan game of Megaman X
this song is more Awesome!!!
Vile
Pls link of mmx1 Style
how you make it? please tell me
X2 is Best versión!!!!!
sounds better than the original 😃 or maybe it is my love for the 16 bits games idk.

This sounds sweet! May I suggest Destined Ruler from Mega Man Zero 2?
If X8 was made in the 90s instead of 04
Why? I think X8 is fine the way it is.
I might've gotten this wrong, but I think capcom intended to make the whole mmx series for the snes, but it was straight up impossible
the zero 4 version is better, but still awesome dude
This >>>>>> original song
Better than original
Que viajem é essa veio😠😡🤧
mejor es la original esta mas shida

Its obviously not the original version. It's a remix of the song.
