Thank you for watching !
Great to see ‘rare’ aircraft @ BHX. Thanks for sharing Kev 👍
Thanks Dr Smith , a packet of crisp is the only reason we managed to capture this - thankfully 👍
Majestic looking plane, lovely to see. Great shots, well done Kev and Michelle 🤩
Thanks Wendy 👍
Amazing catch! 🇬🇧
Thank you Aaayjay 👍
I truly never knew the UK gov had its own aircraft. I thought it was British Airways, period. Sorry for my ignorance lol! Nice looking plane.
Wasn't it called Blair Force One at some point
@@rovertaw22 Dunno, but I've heard 'Boris One'. Blair wanted a new VIP plane but Gordon Brown cancelled it when the planet became skint overnight. Cameron fitting one of the new tankers with a multi-million pound VIP interior and optional extras, then when Boris got the paint job done for less than a million, a lot of folk complained.
It's not just for VIP travel. It still serves as a refuelling jet for RAF fighter jets as well.
@@RomNYC I think the Falcon 900 is civil registered……this is an Air Force aircraft judging by its registration……
It is not a govt aircraft it's an RAF asset
Fantastic @AirportAction another great capture. 👏✈️
Thanks Elaine , a rare one for BHX 👍
Nice to see 'Boris Force One' at BHX again!
Sure you mean KEAR FORCE ONE??
Very nice . I’d like to see that over here . At least the British government haven’t spent $450M on 2 737 MAX8’s to cart the overpaid hanger ons around like the Aussie government have .. nice capture Kev👍
This conversion cost about 15 million quid (wiki). Charles III and her indoors are due to visit NSW , Canberra and Samoa this coming October, so you might be lucky.
All governments know how to spend spend spend 🤣 Thanks David , we almost missed this one 👍
Outstanding catch!
Beautiful plane.
Very cool seeing this plane, I've only seen the photos from when it was rolled out until now, thanks for sharing, legends as always
18 Shouties
Thank you 18Shouties 👍
@Kev that kc2 voyager comes over our house what a beautiful plane
A stunning aircraft Julie , did you manage get a photo as it passed your house? 👍
@@AirportActionmy daughter takes the pictures I will ask her if she's got one of it
brilliant catch😀👍
Thank you Vitality 👍
Livery looks great and needs to be rolled out for the rest of the BA fleet of aeroplanes.
First comment 🎉 What a catch!!
Thank you Mohammed 👍
Being X Military I see things on that aircraft others overlook, enough said cheers Kev, great catch mate.👍
Beautiful catch and stunning airplane 👏👏👍👍👍
Thanks Leslie , love the livery 👍
I think the idea was proposed by the labour govt back in the 1990s and the newspapers came up with the sobriquet 'Blairforce One'. Now I guess it's Kier's Kite. It is hazy in my mind but I think the Government used to use VC10s of the Queens Flight until they were pensioned off?
Thanks for the info Keith 👍
Blairforce One, brilliant
The Bo oh wo ah plane😂
it looks very posh for a plane
Painted in Cambridge
Wonder who's getting out while they still can?
Fantastic takeoff.
I seen that in real life i posted it on my snap story and people were asking if its a ufo💀😭😂
Landed at John Lennon Airport at 12.33 yesterday then went to Southport
Wow , it gets about Shaz 👍
@@AirportAction Not sure if he’s back to Scotland been busy so didn’t check oh well
The aircraft that landed at John Lennon Airport was a Dassault Falcon carrying King Charles arriving from Aberdeen. This KC2 Voyager registration XX336 all its flights are available for all to view on Flightradar 24.
@@Pan1man4 yes
I wonder what those things are on the underside of the wings towards the ends?
Fuel hose pods for its day to day job, same as the other RAF tankers.
What is it and why was it here ? Never seen or heard of this plane
Hi Stuart , this is the UK version of Airforce One 😂 It was waiting to get into Brize so diverted to BHX until cleared to arrive 👍
@@AirportAction ahhh, makes sense now 😂 didn’t know we had one 😁
@@DJStuartLee We have this A330MRT which can be VIP transport (although compared to other countries government/head of state aircraft it is not that impressive inside), and 2 Dassault Falcon 900 aircraft that are for Government/VIP flights.
If this is a government plane why did Cameron hire a very expensive private jet?
id call it the tart of the skys
Where did you spot
Lovely video…..well done…….ex RAF here
Thanks Kevin 👍
ASCOT 1?
Ascot 032
King Charles
Why not use British airways.Seems wasteful to me.
It's part of the RAF tanker fleet. It's already on our books so to speak (long term lease)
