    I still remember how the things changed in the book after those 2-3 wierdly wierd sex scenes. I was just about to quit the book after them and then BAMM, the story changes totally. I was very much numb after that. Like how you said it wasn’t just domestic abuse. For me it was that sadness and shock of the person you love so much behaving like this with you. And how she is forever confused about what is happening. But the ending is really well

      Oh yes… that all came as a shock and did really hit hard. I kinda felt same as you mentioned and then that… so heavy, so shocking

    I like the book so much and I read it last year. But I was just sad about the fact that lily was somewhere still in love with atlas while she was engaged to ryle. I mean no one talks about the ryle's childhood trauma of how he lost his brother, the very reason for which he was so aggressively possessive. Ryle had his faults but lily was not as innocent as she was shown. Ryle really tried to not emotionally attach to her as he knew the consequences but it was all waste at last.

    Colleen Hoovers books deals with all these subject matters that I think will not be easy for me to read so I had decided to stay away from her books. But I might read just one to satiate my curiosity. I'm thinking of starting with 'verity' by her. Please read this book by her next. Would love to know your views on it. Also so happy to see your video after a long time.

    I liked the book. It was a fun read. But it wasn't convincing how Alex lied to Lilly for staying away from her life. I also didn't like the overall urban elite class setting of the novel. You can't simply set up a successful business just like that.

    Can I make audiobook of this books and post it on RUclips ? Or should we need permission from author/ publisher?

    • @IndianBooktuber

      No. Pretty sure just making the audiobook without permission would be copyright infringement.

    I remember how heartbroken I was after finishing this book.... i was "ryle over atlas" person....maybe because he was introduced to us before atlas...and maybe because ryle and lily's is the major love story .... by the end obviously i did understand that why lily took the step that she took.... but deep down somewhere in my heart i always wanted both of them to work the whole marriage situation out...

    • @IndianBooktuber
      @IndianBooktuber  Год назад

      Hmm honestly when atlas first comes in, I was also like Ryle over Atlas but then when ‘that’ happens… I just wanted Ryle gone!
