IMHO, Singularity does not belong in the "sexy songs" list that you think Lauren would like. The only way it fits there is if you completely ignore the lyrics. The character is deeply troubled and trapped in intense loneliness, part of the MOTS exploration of the inner vs outer being.
@@JVSphone if singularity doesn't fit in, neither do filter and my time then, if you look at it in the lyrical way. filter is a sad truth of how people will always view you [jimin] the way they want to no matter how and who you actually are and my time is about jungkook's life and having to grow up too fast. even serendipity has romantic lyrics, not sexy lyrics. the choreographies for all 4 songs are sexy, that's the only part of them that are.

@@Manueelaa I don't disagree that it is performed in a very sensual way (it is V, after all). However, it is not about having sex. Possibly the sense of allure that self-recrimination and regret can have, keeping you trapped in a loop until a part of you begins to wallow and even take pleasure in the pain of it.

RM wrote the lyrics because he came to terms with liking his own very visible dimples. It is said that the vocal line came up with the choreo ans was supposed to be taking the mickey out of RM and his dimples but they created a whole new narrative with their hip thrusts.

"Dimple" was written by RM about his own dimples. Legend has it he wanted the song for himself and had to be talked into giving the song to the vocal line. There is actually a video where we see the hip thrust big time by all four of them. This was rather tame in comparison.
And a lot of Solo stuff actually his a thing about themselves (on "Wings" or "Map of the Soul:7") or part of a storyline ("Singularity" (Taehyung) is part of the "Love Yourself"-Area and between "Outro: Her" and "Fake Love": The Intro to "LY: Tear, the second Album; "Serendibity" (Jimin) is the Intro to the whole storyline on "LY: Her" and "Epiphany" (Jin) is the conclusion on "LY: Answer"). And than there are the mixtapes...

some armys just hate to admit that there’s any sexual or sensual undertone in bts’ songs, and it’s annoying as hell
There are solo songs that are part of the BTS albums and fit into the overall theme and part of the narrative. V's "Singularity" is one of them, as it's the intro to "Love Yourself: Tear". Some of the others are Jimin's "Filter" and "Serendipity", to name some that were already mentioned in the comments. RM's "Persona", Suga's "Shadow", and J-hope's "Ego" are in fact the core of their Map of the Soul album series. So these songs should be included in your exploration of BTS, otherwise it would be incomplete.
But there are also solo songs *outside* BTS, which are personal projects. The rap line's mixtapes, for example. Or V's "Winter Bear", "Snow Flower", and others. Jin's "Super Tuna". Some OST songs from V and Jin (their recent "Christmas Tree" and "Yours", respectively, are really good.) You can explore these if you're interested in the members or like their particular music styles.
For solo work outside BTS, they usually write their own songs and have complete creative freedom and usually reflect their personalities and music tastes more clearly.
For solo work for BTS albums, the songs might be their own work or they might not. Both "Singularity" and "Serendipity" were written by RM, for example. "Truth Untold" by the vocal line was also written by RM.

if u want to see another "baby making" song by them, its house of card. it is an older song that is love by armys but the lyric 😭. so yeah, their duality. but speaking on duality, if u wanna see them perform a sad song with a sad live performance, u can listen to the truth untold. it is a 2018 song, a newer song compared to house of card and it is from the same album as singularity. one of the well loved album, ly tear.

Only RM could raise the simple often overlooked facial feature to the heights of sensuality. The lyrics seem to say that love can be sparked in the most unexpected places, and listeners loved it. The chef's kiss is seeing Dimple followed by Pied Piper, both with lyrics. Stay well
