Its crazy how accurate you tend to be. I've been single for a long time now. Its just too risky for a man in the modern age. It's like walking through a mine field. Doesn't matter how much you know & how carefully you step. One wrong step & BANG your life is over. Or you are permanently scared. I would love to find someone to spend my life with. But at the same time I'm ok being single. Its a desire, not a need. But yes, there has been a lot of improvement & healing. But that doesn't blind me to the dangers. I have never been blown up by a minefield. I just know enough to not walk through one. I don't really see the benefit in forced positivity. Sprinkling sugar over everything to make it more palatable. Eventually that just leads to decay. Its better to recognize the bitter reality, not convince yourself that its just a matter of perspective. It only becomes an issue when you let that reality consume you. Too much sugar & too much bitter is bad for anyone.
