lovely to listen to that interview - my Dad Jimmy & Granda Willie Souter both worked at the Bricker Granda Souter lived in the Bricker Houses. Sometimes we went up to the Brickr with Dad's Piece(lunch) and made Boolies out of clay & dad would put them on the top of the next batch to be fired & bring them home eventually - not very "round" & hard to play with wobbly boolies. We left CB in Nov 1950 - Dad was very unsettled after being away with the Army during the War. WHen I grew up I realised what a sacrifice he made leaving his Mum.Dad & sisters behind so we could have a better start in Australia - he never was able to go back to see them again. We lived at 14 Serald St & when I have been back on visits I just stand& stare at all the places in the village that were so much part of our childhood.(sister Audrey Brother Harry and later and Aussie brother Glenn)
