I'm so sorry your therapist didn't provide you safe space to express those (totally normal and understandable) fantasies! I once had a therapist tell me that as long as I wasn't doing anything to bring my fantasies to life, that it was more than ok to think about anything I wanted -- even the de*th of my abusive parents.

Last year, I realised I was autistic, and the journey of reconciling what's happened to you is a path filled with remembering how different people have hurt you multiple times and the injustice of it. And then you have to somehow find peace with all of that.

Amazing. I need to see her live at some point. Missed the tour recently. Since going through ADHD diagnosis at 42, discovered her and her partners ADHD info and her music. So many things she sings about I connect with.
Hopefully you can find the strength in your ADHD as I have. I've got my diagnosis at 24, and suddenly felt like I wasn't normal anymore, which I've since decided is absurd. We think differently, and because of that there are both pros and cons to it. Hope this helps a little :)
People say it's easier to find out when you're younger it's really not no matter what age you find out about some of these issues, it doesn't get easier. It just means you're used to people seeing you as a fuck up when you get diagnosed young I'm 29 and besides adhd I'm autistic and have people look down on me all the time Because I'm high-functioning. But that doesn't mean I don't have my moments and when I have my moment everybody wants to blow them even more out of proportion.
