Taking it OUT OF THE CABINET is insane and definitely a strike against the caller. that is not normal, the chip has no bearing your honor. man probably didn't want to use a NEW PAPER CUP every time he wants a drink, he's a hero.
when she went on about the mug owner being a showoff and a suck up to his bosses I just saw nothing but red flags from the caller. Drinking from a mug isn't pretentious like she's making it out to be! It's giving jealousy and she's only calling in because one of the office admins caught her ass.
Okay I def dont wanna dogpile on clarissa because its DEF not that big of a deal but its always so funny to me when callers are 100% in the wrong and "teehee' it off. like girl.

throwing away a mug after two days in the sink is INSANE! the dirty water is clearly soaking a coffee ring. i get its not ideal but like what if the person soaked it and then was remote the next day or was home sick or something??? i'd be so pressed hahah

The mug think makes no sense the more i hear it. Not a dirty mug anywhere. In the sink area. Most ppl dont put mugs in the sink to keep it clear for usey parwnts keep dirty water mugs on their counter too. Then she throws it away when its clean and stored with the other cups. Why throw it away? Also the jealousy about him being ambitious etc and lying…. Idk.
Id be so gutted. My favourite mug has a chip in it but my tea always tastes better in it.

I don't know, if her responsibility is to clean that space and there's a mug sitting there for days like she said, I'd be throwing it away too and probably also putting a note that things that get left out will be tossed.
@@LetumLoL i would get if she wanted to remove it from the cabinet but i don’t think throwing it away was the right move. put it on the counter with a sticky note asking the owner to take it home. but also i don’t think she said she had to keep that space clean, she was just restocking the plates and cups

I still don't understand why someone would throw away a mug because it was in a cupboard just because it had a chip in it? Seems like a weird choice. I would be upset, personally, especially if it was a favorite. Also, blaming it on other employees: that's a villain move. I don't feel there's any justification for this
Honestly, agreed. If she would have tried to figure out who owned the mug before tossing it out that would be one thing. But seeing a mug that you already know is someone's personal item and still tossing it? not cool. She could have even asked the supervisor of the other department, like "Hey do you know who's mug this is? do you think it's okay if I toss it out? it has a huge chip in it." I would have been more okay with that compared to just throwing it out. Granted it was a dirty mug that was sitting in the sink for a few days, but that just means someone used it recently.
I agree, why throw something out that was in the cupboard that doesn’t belong to you? It’s so disrespectful. This is making me so unreasonably frustrated 😂

Like if it was a clean mug in the cabinet but not where it was supposed to be why not just move it or I don't know just leave it there? Especially since you could tell by the design that it's probably someone's personal mug

i havent heard it brought the up yet but chipped ceramics can be not great for you. besides the risk of cutting yourself from a sharp edge, bacteria can now start to gather and live in the chip making it unhygienic. and depending on what kind of glaze it could be dangerous. there are ways to fix a chip on a ceramic but personally i havent done so and i dont think i would trust putting something in my mouth no matter what type of glue it is :p and gold's a bit pricey. but also not her mug so not her risk xD

Totally unrelated but just wanted to send a genuine thank you to Miles and the podcast - recently lost two family members and was having a really hard time dealing with it. I spent hours at night just listening to the podcast while playing a video game just to take my mind off how sad I was. Probably was the only thing able to pull a smile or laugh out of me. I ended up ordering a PP sweater to show support for the only thing that could take my mind off of things. 💕

Omg skating is the BEST. I go three times a week and I’m not a good figure skater by any means. It’s so enjoyable as a little treat at the end of a long day! I wish I had a bigger adult ice skating community here! My first class was 16+ and I was in fact the only adult 😂

Ask this person over text more questions that’s the whole point of dating apps. Why are you entertaining this person if you don’t know if you’re interested or not. And if it’s in a hook up way then you should just avoid it because you work with them.
Every true crime story that I listen to that has an older male he ends up murdering his spouse. She’s usually younger they were in some capacity working together. She didn’t know what she wanted got into a relationship with him he took it vantage of her treated her like a naïve child in every single situation. This is like applicable to many people. And as I’m hearing her talk like oh I just don’t know anything figure it out. But don’t let him try and say oh this is what you need when you have no idea what this dude‘s intentions are. Like you are way too impressed by one person that’s got a corporate job.

nancys sooo unhappy about something in her own life.
mug girl trying to spin the owner of the mug as the weird one is insane behavior. Even if the office provides paper cups and stuff, it's totally normal to have reusable mugs in the office! Like sure it's chipped, condition isn't pristine. But throwing it away without permission seems so wasteful and inconsiderate. The only situation I can see it being fine to throw away is if you fully break the mug by accident. That's it. I can't remember what episode Miles says it, but he mentioned that occasionally the bully in the scenario calls in to the show to feel vindicated that they weren't in the wrong. This story absolutely reeks of that kind of call in, I hate to say it.
