I’m saying watch the directors cut (if you think it’s bad) then you’ll see the main problems with this movie were down to studio interference. I always say that the theatrical cut of daredevil is a 6/10 but the director’s cut makes it at 8/10. Easily my favourite fox produced marvel movie (apart from some X-men movies) Daredevil is like nostalgia goggles for me, I watch it and I’m transported back to my childhood. I love the 2003 daredevil film. I know it’s clear you simply replied to the wrong comment but I wanted to emphasize just how wrong it was. You’ve just committed friendly fire soldier.

I've had and read some of the comics that the Avengers movies that they were based on and they're not that good . Daredevil is an Oscar winner in comparison . And Daredevil definitely ain't close to any Oscar .

Only as good or as bad as the people making them…… They did what art is meant to do, take some risks and be unique. Daredevil has many imperfections (the playground fight, the love story, overuse of evanescence and possibly Colin Farrell) but they give the movie character. MCU movies are all the same, same photography style, same self aware humor, same genre, same tropes and with increasing shared universe - same characters. They’ve became what happens to art when it’s too successful, it becomes a business. Now with Disney buying fox the few marvel characters they didn’t have, they now do. So while MCU was becoming repetitive and boring, X-men retained their own identity. Because of that individuality they created things like Logan and Deadpool, things Disney would never have done. Now Disney will profit off Ips that were made much more lucrative because of bold decisions made by fox, decisions Disney would never have had the courage to make.
Kevin can talk for hours and I would be fascinated. One of the best storytellers who ever lived.
