Our Family Pantry’s Hashbrown Casserole
1 - 22 ounce can Cream of Chicken Soup (We use Cream of Celery Soup)
32oz bag of Frozen Hash browns
2 cups Sour Cream
4-6 Slices of Bacon, chopped
1.5 cups Shredded Cheese (Cheddar, Colbyjack, Pepper Jack, Jack)
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 stick of melted butter, divided (2T goes in the Frosted Flakes)
2 Cups Frosted Corn Flakes cereal (Generic Brands taste better in this recipe)
Preheat oven to 350*
Grate cheese, chop bacon, and crush Frosted Flakes.
Mix 2 Tablespoons melted butter with crushed cereal and set aside.
Mix cream of soup, 6 T melted butter, pepper, sour cream, cheese, and bacon until well combined. Add frozen Hashbrowns and mix until we’ll incorporated.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 casserole dish. Spread evenly and top with frosted flake mixture. Bake for 1 hour uncovered. Enjoy!
