It turned out great - I really like that you explain why you do what you do. Your videos are very informative and I appreciate that being new to the tumbler world.

I like this. When i did my Halloween cup i actually just placed the vinyl shapes and buildings on my cup. I like how you spray painted yours.

Hello, Miss Kiss Kreations! Got a question about epoxy for you. I was at a festival recently and it had a lot of tumbler vendors. I was noticing that there were none that used epoxy. So I asked one why. She said it is not food safe and it leaves off fumes, especially when the tumbler was put in the microwave. Well, my first thought is if you have a stainless steal tumbler, you shouldn't put it in the microwave. Is epoxy safe for tumblers? I read on Pinterest where someone used Brite Tone instead. I did some research and found this is food safe once it has cured for 30 days. Just wanted to know your thoughts on what I have been told and what I have read.

Hey there and thank you for your comment! You probably spoke to a vendor selling sublimation tumblers. And you are correct, no stainless steel should be placed in the microwave, including the sublimation ones. There are food safe epoxies. I tell everyone, if they are still worried to use a food safe epoxy, tape off the top or use a straw. Brite Tone is an epoxy alternative, that I have heard great reviews on, but I have never used before. I enjoy making epoxy tumblers over sublimation personally, because I feel it creates a more unique art, rather than heating an image on a tumbler, but everyone has their own style and tastes. I hope this information helped!

@@MissKissKreations Yes they were all sublimation vendors. I haven't done sublimation or epoxy tumblers yet but can't wait to try them both. Thank you for your thoughts and advice. Have a good day and a great week! 😊
